Bed was very comfortable and buffet decent enough. The location is in a bit of a rough pocket of the CBD being on flinders, but it’s close to everything and very walkable. We love Melbourne CBD.

Good hotel and location. I was disappointed to get a room with an adjoining door, not usually an issue but it was not sound proof at all. Occupants of the room next door arrived back after midnight and their TV and general talking were very distracting. Something to be aware of when checking in,

DoubleTree’s location is convenient esp if you’re joining group tours. Pick up and drop off points are just around the corner.
I liked the breakfast buffet too, and they were kind enough to create a breakfast box since I left early for my tour.
Check-in was convenient. Shoutout to Faith who warmly assisted me from my arrival until my departure.
The only thing I didn’t like about my room is that the pillows smelled like sweat, it kinda felt moldy too in the room ‘cause I kept on sneezing whenever I was in the room. My body knows when such conditions exist ‘cause it really triggers a reaction.

The room was lovely and modern. VERY comfortable bed. The location is incredibly convenient for dining and shopping options, super central so you can walk everywhere or catch a tram. LOVED the warm cookies on arrival - wonderful touch.
