Was on one of the main roads, only a 5 or so minute walk to centre of town. For the cheap price it was perfect, had a working aircon, nice shower and toilet and comfy queen bed, nothing to complain about

Outside door to my allocated room was broken and could not be secured. Replacement room had non working air con broken shower and detached toilet seat. Only one of two bedside lights worked. Desperately in need of maintenance but reception was friendly and welcoming. Definitely can’t recommend.

The door didn’t lock, had been kicked in too many times. Was an awful homeless village and we did not sleep a wink. Everything was filthy, outdated and broken. Cracked tiles in shower, broken bathroom door. Filthy couch. Plastic chairs for dining setting and pillows filthy. Gross- abort

The property manger refused to refund my in-advance payment when I was unable to use the room because the airline cancelled my afternoon flight to get there at short notice, despite phoning the establishment and informing them as soon as I had been told at the airport - while waiting to board the plane - that there was no flight. So, no flight, no arrival, but communication made with the Excelsior that the room could be rebooked for someone else, still no refund.

Not in the best condition. It was much noisier than I thought it would be with people banging doors, and traffic in the street, but it was peak season, so the hotel was full.

It's really rundown and has had little or no maintenance for many years. Reception staff had less personality than Siri.
Chipped tiles, leaky taps, broken lights,ismated plastic outdoor furniture for the room. But it was cheap and the only place 8 could get at short notice.
Very good position, clearly waiting for demolition after the development application is approved.

We wanted to check in about mid-afternoon on a Thursday. Reception was closed and we had to follow instructions to get a key to open the door. Not easy, not welcoming. There was no soap to wash hands, and no tissues.
On the plus side, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The property was old and in need of some repairs and updating.
