Reception staff member was curt, no ‘hello’ “what’s your full name, park out there” handed the key. Room was awful, it was very small, carpet was dirty, it was dark and dingy. Bathroom was horrible, old and tired. The shower drips and leaks, water all over the floor. Very old toilet that didn’t flush effectively. Shower had a curtain -no screen. Lots of noise from the attached room. We left while it was still dark and there were no external lights, we had to use our phone torches to load the car. Overall a very unsatisfactory stay and in my opinion this property should be bull dozed.

A JAIL BED WOULD BE BETTER THAT STAYING IN THAT MOTEL THE LAKES FORBES MOTEL...BOTH MY WIFE AND MYSELF COULD NOT SSLEEP PROPERLY BECAUSE OF THE BED IT WAS SO HARD YOU COULD NOT SLEEP ON IT....ANOTHER MOTEL I WOULD NEVER STAY IN AGAIN...

The room was a "delux" queen room, it was an average quee room. Could do with extra plug in sockets as the only ones I could see in the actual room were 2 behind the microwave, which serviced the TV also. It is convenient to everything in the town and surrounds and is beside the lake however, it is also so close to the highway, my room was metres from the highway, so very noisy with traffic. There was a room above my room, so every step they took in the room, on a creaky floor, was not good. Would be ok for one night or for tradies working in the area, but I was there for 5 nights and this was not pleasant for me. The young guy at the desk, although very quiet, did help me if I needed something.

Very minimal interaction on arrival and bathroom was not very clean. Glass sliding door to patio also dirty. Bed linen was clean, however bed was very uncomfortable. At least the coffee mugs were a decent size. The room was adequate for one night. And price was good.

The owners are lovely people but the rooms themselves were pretty bad they smelt awful an the cleanliness well there wasn’t any the fridge on the inside was gross there was a cookie on the window ledge that had been there long enough I think it belonged in a museum the microwave well I didn’t look inside but the outside was enough for me and the PowerPoints were unsafe as they were hanging out the wall. Such a shame because the owners are very lovely they gave me an additional room due to the online booking not suiting our family.

I feel that the two nights were at the opposite end of the scale.
The first nightwas appaling. Of site people partying with i think guests. Smoking in all the non smoking area. My room smelt like a smokers room. Children running up and down the balcony. Didnt stop until close to 10 pm.
Loud intrusive conversations outside my door.
Second night fine .
The room was dirty and smelt. There was an air freshen can in room but empty.
Check in person really good.

Bathroom wasn't clean property was poorly maintained weeds and overgrowth. Close to the hwy so noisy.
