Mantra on Salt Beach Kingscliff

This is a wonderful hotel away from lots of noise and traffic, close to the beach. The hotel itself is clean and inviting Wether your alone, a couple or a family. This is our second year of staying at this hotel and we have no complaints at all.

Property was clean and well kept. Near a small shopping area the beach. We did not get to try out the pool as it was winter but the pool looked nice.

Welcomed by staff straight away. Room over looking pool. Ideal position. Room was clean and well presented . Easy access to location dining options and pub. Enjoying our stay .

Our employee stayed at the hotel on 27/5/26. The room we paid for was a garden view room. We paid upfront for this. When our employee went to the room he noticed that the skirting board was off and being painted. Nails were poking out of the wall. The carpet was filthy. In fact he should not have been put into this room. When he advised the reception team that evening they advised they could move him but he would need to pay for an upgrade. Considering it was their error in placing him into a dirty room they should have placed him in the new room at no cost. This morning when he dropped off his key he spoke again to the reception team. Who were apologetic about the fact he was left in that room. We have photos to show the absolute disarray the room was in. The skirting board was being painted and there were nails poking out but they tried to hide this with an old chair. The cupboard was moved and the dirt underneath was filthy. In fact the whole room was dirty. Based on this we believe the Mantra on Salt Beach should be providing us a with a refund for this stay. We look forward to hearing back from you.

Apart from having a long walk to our apartment this was an excellent stay. Well equipped kitchen and quality appliances. Huge bathroom with a spa bath. Plenty of storage and comfortable bed. Lovely outlook if the weather had been better. Walking distance to Salt restaurants and cafes.

Favourite holiday spot. Staff were excellent this trip as my husband had a heart operation and staff were very mindful and assisted us move our luggage etc Unlike the big Mantra hotel on the border of NSW and QLD. Love Kingscliff! We’ll be back and share with everyone we know

Very pleasant helpful staff. Clean comfortable room.

We didn’t use the pool The room was clean but the sound on the tv in the bedroom would go loud then soft and the one blanket that we had to use because we were cold could have been in use since world war 2. It was hard! the chairs on the verandah were unusable. Big splits right down the middle. Wouldn’t go to Mantra again.

Great location however no aircon to the bedroom would get pretty hot in the middle of summer.

We stay here regularly and always enjoy the overall experience.
