It is quite far to Sydney Opera House about 1 hour by train, but the location of the hotel is very close to the train station and bus stop ... there are many Vietnamese restaurants around the hotel ... inside the hotel there are also many restaurants so if you are lazy to go out just go down ... overall the hotel good location and also very good ..

Parking was good however we don’t try breakfast because all the reviews about breakfast is not appealing and specially we love coffee and they have broken coffee Machine every person mentioned and looks like never fix

Clean and easy to park. Lots of variety for eating out and the staff are friendly. The rooms themself are dated and need an up date but they are clean and tidy. Beds are comfy. Solo traveller for work

17 year old was not allowed to walk from the carpark back to the hotel room with 20 year old sister due to club rules. Parent had to be with the 17 year old at all times when not in the room.

We were disappointed that we were told we could not enter our room until 3.00 pm. We were worried we would have to change in the toilets, because our meeting commenced at 2.00. The gentleman (I think was in charge that morning) advised that he would instruct staff to clean a room and he would phone us when we could enter same. We are worried that the same thing will happen next year when we attend the same meeting.

Delightful staff and comfortable beds. Bankstown Mercure Hotel's location is outstanding, as we were able to walk to the train station to get to Olympic park. Was very straight forward, saved us from sitting for hours in traffic.
