Friendly staff and good location, and clean, but small things for convenience and comfort missing. Example, power points in bedroom not accessible, behind the bed and low behind bedside tables. No disposable slippers to use. No tissue boxes. No complimentary water.
A bit depressing with no real windows to the outside. It’s really a place for a sleep and use amenities when needed. Locals great though.

Beds only a queen size, uncomfortable pillows, small bathroom with shower over bath, window is old heritage wood window that you have to pull up to open. Noisy with shared open corridor for all floors

Our room overall was lovely, but needed maintenance. When we ch packed u band went to our room the card scanner wouldn’t Erin so we waited 30 mins for someone to fix it and let us in. The bathroom their tiles had splits in the grout and the link in the kitchen was lifted, we also found rubbish in the curtains on the floor when we pulled them across. Otherwise, the general area was lovely and good walking distance to our destination.

Very convenient for ICC Sydney, Good condition and has washing machine and dryer. But shower over bath is a health risk - very slippery and no non slip mat and worse, no handles to hold on to.

This is one of the most unique hotels I've stayed in - a former wool store turned hotel. The building exterior is beautiful and easily recognizable from a distance. The interior is just something I've never seen before, I don't even know how to describe it. Just don't look down if you're afraid of heights. I booked a two level apartment and it was perfect for my extended family of five adults. Easy access to the light rail, shopping, and restuarants. Darling Harbour is just right there. Sydney Fish Market is also just a 10 min walk from here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Thankyou you Yugi and Anish for your professionalism during my stay at the Oaks.I loved what the hotel had to offer eg tbe cleanliness and attention to detail in the rooms.I will definatly return,for a longer stay sooner than latter,most of all the rooms where quiet thankyou.

Excellent reception by friendly staff upon arrival. Unfortunately that was the highlight. Room was very tired.
Kitchen cabinetry damaged. Cutlery needed rewashing before ise.
Many floor tiles in bathroom cracked. Towel rail not secured to wall. Unable to use bottled body wash without it falling off the holder.
Shower head and toilet too low for anyone over five foot two.
Lighting was a series of three globe oyster lights. None had all three globes working, with the one in the living area only having a single working globe.
Double powerpoint in bedroom was falling off the wall.
A 14 storey tower with only 1of 3 lifts working at checkout time (and only two working the evening before).
Very disappointing and not at all what I would expect from this chain.

Very run down. The convenient location doesn't make up for the chocking stench of the carpets. Even the carpet deodoriser purchased didn't mask the smell. The neighbour's conversation was clearly audible through the walls and the general busyness from permanent residents detracts. Definitely not 4 star.
