Our hotel was amazing, and I will never forget the breakfast we had with a mountain view. The places we visited were fantastic, and I was very satisfied with everything. Thank you!

The hotel is great with beautiful scenery from the balcony. Building condition a little run down, when we open the room balcony door, the door latch came out. But overall the room is comfortable and very clean. I love the heated toilet flooring which is so comfortable when spend time in the toilet. Me and my husband had a very pleasant stay for a night at this hotel. The only disappointment was during the arrival. No car is allowed to drive to the hotel. The instruction given was to go to parking P1 and press the hotel shuttle service button, hotel will arrange shuttle to pick up. We waited at P1 location in the super cold weather without a seat for almost an hour. After numerous pressing of button and 2 calls, finally the shuttle arrived. The distance to hotel is just about 5 to 10 minutes drive but we waited in the cold for almost one hour. We hope the hotel can improve the shuttle service and give clearer instruction to their guests. The instruction given today is for guests who drive there not for guest who take taxi there.

Amazing stay. Best way to see Hallstatt is to spend the night. That was you get the evening and early morning with the town before the boat traffic begins. It was me and maybe 4 other people on the streets in the overnight hours.

Highly disappointing and not as expected. This property has three buildings spaced far apart on uneven pathways. Reception is at the ferry landing. This is the hotel face you see in the pictures when creating your reservation, but it is not necessarily the location of your stay. We and a staff member walked quite a distance with
our bags before we finally arrived at our annexed suite. We were advised there was an elevator, but to get to it, we had to climb quite a steep flight of stairs. We paid a high price for Lakeside rooms only to find we had a stunning view of a a crane and major construction work.Anyone with mobility issues would be well advised to reconsider their stay or confirm that there is a definite mobility access. At least the restaurant in the main reception annex ( a hike) served a great breakfast and dinner was delicious. Staff were accommodating and spoke English well.

Parking is very far from the hotel and they would not let you use the shuttle except on checkin and checkout day.

Heritage Hotel is likely one of the best places to stay on Hallstatt. It is located right next to the boat ramp (which you will need to take across the lake if you are arriving by train, 8 euro per person for round trip) and is convenient to all cafes, restaurants, shops. Hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly, offer luggage storage for before and after your check in!
Heads up on visiting Hallstatt during January - several shops and activities such as the bone house and sky walk were closed until February. Still plenty to see and do, but a lot of the things we wanted to do most we were unable to. Not all closures were accurately listed online.

Very nice hotel excellent location (ferry, town center). I saw the lake and mountains through my room window and balcony. Hotel restaurant is excellent - schnitzel is perfect. Comparatively great value. Will come back.

The meal in the restaurant was exceptional. The rooms were great and roomy. Hotel is very quiet with a great location. The downsides were poor lighting in the restaurant as in too bright with no mood and the rooms were very hot. Otherwise would definitely stay there again.

Location was perfect, right in the middle of the town. It was really clean and spacious.
Staff could be more friendly towards guests. Room was too hot and it wasn’t possible to adjust it. Bed sheets and pillow weren’t comfortable.

Staff were great and helpful. Room was clean. Hotel located in quiet part of town. No parking at the hotel. Hotel gave us instruction on where to park and a shuttle van took us to the hotel. Great restaurant on site that seems to cater only to their guests. Overall, will highly recommended hotel.
