Everything was wonderful. When I booked the hotel, I recall it stated to be close to the center, minutes away from the amphitheater, the lake and shopping. However, the hotel turns out to be in the outskirts. What did I do wrong?

This beautiful and full-service facility is in a quiet residential neighborhood, only a 15 minute bus ride to the center of town and the Festival stage. Bus stops for separate lines are just outside the door or a short walk away. The Hotel offers an evening shuttle bus to and from the main Festival stage. Room rates include a delicious buffet breakfast with a large variety of choices. The Hotel also has an excellent restaurant for evening meals....advance reservations recommended during Festival weeks. The reception and other staff are very welcoming and charming and eager to provide helpful information.

Unter Shuttlebus zum Festspielhaus wird hier im Gegensatz zu Bayreuth, Verona… der öffentliche Stadtbus gemeint, aber nicht explizit angesprochen. So kam es, dass mindestens acht Personen sehr knapp mit Taxis zur Vorstellung gebracht werden mussten. Die Taxirechnungen wurden aber anstandslos vom Hotel erstattet

This is a very modern hotel and might be best for business travelers as it is very efficient, comfortable, and convenient, but doesn't have a particular Austrian feel. It's located about a 15-20-minute walk from the lake, but it is mostly flat and through one of the most beautiful neighborhoods I've ever seen, so don't be put off by the distance. Very friendly staff and good food/bar.

A very pleasant place to stay in Bregenz. About 20 min walk to the opera house on the lake. Room was rather spacious, very comfortable and quiet (garden view). Very good breakfast, included in the price. Large free of charge parking lot.
There is a covered swimming pool with sunbeds out on the lawn and a sauna.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very nice - very pleasant vibe throughout the lovely hotel. There was also a nice little walking/running path a stone's throw from the front door. This made my dog very happy. I would absolutely stay here again.
