Fantastic weekend stay, beautiful spa, lovely too. And great facilities. Very central in Zell am See with shops and restaurants within a one minute walk. Helpful staff especially as our room was quite distant and they were very helpful with bags for us.

Romantik Hotel Zell Am See exceeded our expectations. Perfectly located; a short walk from the train station with a beautifully decorated lobby and bar area. The staff at reception were pleasant and efficient and suggested hiking trails close to the hotel. The spa facilities were wonderful. We booked an apartment with a full kitchen and a balcony overlooking the mountain. Highly recommend a stay at Romantik Hotel.

Romantik Hotel Zell am See was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon. From the stunning lakeside location to the warm, welcoming atmosphere, everything about our stay was unforgettable.
Our room was incredible—spacious, beautifully designed, with a balcony overlooking the lake and our very own in-room sauna. Waking up to the view, sipping Prosecco on the balcony, and ending the day with a private sauna session felt like something out of a dream.
The hotel’s wellness area is just as impressive, with multiple saunas, a serene indoor pool, and that perfect Austrian spa vibe. After days of adventuring, it was exactly what we needed.
Special shoutout to DJ at the front desk—he was hands-down the best hotel staff we encountered anywhere in Austria. Friendly, helpful, and just a genuinely great guy who made us feel right at home.
We can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you’re coming to Zell am See, this is the place to stay. Romantic, relaxing, and truly unforgettable.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. We were treated to an upgrade to the honeymoon suite, which was such a lovely surprise and made our time
in Zell am See even more special.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly and looked after us well. We loved the cosy bar area with log fire and the food in the restaurant was amazing! The spa/sauna area was clean and didn't get too busy. The hotel is right in the centre of the town, so very convenient and it was nice and quiet. I can't really fault anything and would highly recommend a stay here!

Travelled with a group of friends and several children.
The hotel is charming, the bulk of the main building being very old with some modern additions to the rear.
The staff were always friendly and accommodating.
We all went half board and were well fed with good food. Breakfast was a wealth of choice, both continental and some English staples. Dinner was equally good, you could effectively have a 5 course meal every day.
A great hotel in a great setting both winter and summer.

We visited for 3 nights for Husband’s 40th. Lovely traditional style hotel, wonderful staff with great attention to detail. They noticed that it was his birthday and gave him a song and dessert. The spa is good, just the thing after a long walk. Centrally located but quite too. We loved it and will be back

A traditional family run hotel with a feeling of Austrian heritage. The hotel offered a summer card which was a real bonus and allowed free us of local transport and access to local attractions. Our room was lovely- spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and staff very helpful.
The restaurant was very pleasant, but we felt the bar area could have been better staffed to create more atmosphere.
All in all a very nice hotel in a good central location for the town.

Lovely helpful staff, all areas clean, really good relaxation areas-indoors and outdoors. Excellent food, breakfast and dinner. Unique and historic building and furniture. All local amenities at your door step. We should have chosen half-board!
