What Guests Say About Their Stay

ibis Budget Brugge worked out really well. It’s literally next door to Brugge Centraal, which makes arriving with luggage effortless. They let me check in about four hours early, which was a huge plus. For Bruges, the price for a private room is hard to beat. The breakfast buffet was great value too. Plenty of variety, not just the usual croissant‑and‑juice setup some places try to pass off as a breakfast buffet.

The Ibis hotel was great for us. We didn't try the breakfast because we thought it was too expensive. The room was great, although having the shower in the center of the room was a little awkward, and it would have been nice to have a door that actually latches on the room with the toilet instead of just a swinging door. For the most part our stay was comfortable and good.

This is a budget hotel so you get what you pay for. Room was clean enough but not pristine, The bed was firm but comfortable, room was small but functional. Excellent location next to the Bruges train station. Breakfast was a good value at $13 Euro as you could make lunch for the day as well. Front desk staff were excellent and very accomodating. They can store your luggage if you need to check out but want to spend the day in Bruges.

I was surprised that this stay went as smoothly as it did. It’s no Marriott, but it was pretty clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came each day, replaced the towels and made the bed. Bed was pretty comfortable, and the shower was large. Heads up there are no hair dryers, or fridges in the room. Overall a decent place for the price !

Clean room with amenities as Expected for the price point of this hotel. I was able to check in early Which was much appreciated. The proximity to the train station is very convenient but station a 20 min walk from old town without restaurants nearby. Fast food places are available inside and just outside the station but this area, the train station and large bus stop point, feels a little gritty and rough around the edges

The hotel is in the middle of a business complex and has no real front entrance to drive up to. It was necessary to DRAG our luggage from our car 60-90 feet to an elevator then another 100+ feet to another elevator. Then drag your luggage another 150 feet to the front door of the hotel. The staff was very unfriendly and not the least bit helpful. The room was very small and the shower had BLACK MOLD in the molding. The bathroom light had no switch so when you sent into the room in the middle of the night the light came on FULL BRIGHT ! I would rate this motel just a few steps BELOW Motel 6.

This is a true budget hotel: the rooms are very tiny with not much space to move around in. The bath towels were small and thin and the shower is in an open area beside the bed. Our room overlooked the central railway tracks but the sound of the trains wasn't actually that loud. Staff were very helpful and the location was convenient for walking to the old town of Bruges. Parking was relatively inexpensive, but the hotel room was expensive relative to its size and condition. I guess it was all about location, location, location.

The hotel is in a convenient location with friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast was also nice, including everything you would expect. The hotel is definitely a budget option, but this is exactly what we were looking for - a hotel located close to the Bruges city centre with a comfy bed for the night. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking somewhere to stay in Bruges on a budget.

No. Do not stay at this hotel. There was mold in our room and we told them. They did not take care of it so we left. Cleanliness is definitely an issue here which they need to address.

Very basic hotel and breakfast, the only good thing is close to Bruges Train Station. Unlike other stations, there is no decent place to eat. The escalators to the hotel were not working. We had to drag our luggage up many flights of stairs. The room was so small that we couldn’t fully open our mid-size luggage. The walls were not sound proof, could hear clearly next room talking. If we have a chance to come back to Bruges, we would stay there again.
