Great hotel, the lady on reception was so wonderful and friendly, great service. The hotel is a grand old hotel on a lovely stretch of road. The room was quiet and huge and comfortable. Really great place!

The proprietors were very hospitable. They made us most welcome and the accommodation was really good. Parking was easy and the house was quaint. Our rooms were up two flights of stairs, but really nice. The breakfast was typical French Belgian - lovely croissants.

The property was a little dated but very clean and tidy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. We had parking for our motorcycle at the rear of the property even though it states no onsite parking available.

Hotel was closed, I had to book another Hotel that cost me another €209 nothing was mentioned in booking that Hotel reception closes at 10pm terrible situation by the time I got another Hotel and taxi I got 3hrs sleep at a cost to myself of €290 someone called from window and said Hotel was fully booked so never came down, never book this Hotel again.

My hosts were absolutely superb, they went out of their way to make me feel at home, comfortable and valued. The food was great, incredible value, tasty and al-fresco, the surroundings are beautiful and the small towns around are idyllic Belgium.
The only niggles I had were with the wifi, it ins't a strong router so didn't reach my room on the 3rd floor and it was hot. Granted the weather was particularly warm but the room never cooled down and the stunning old building didn't have any air-con in the rooms. It was a fan short of great.

Il Castellino is a fine little hotel. Don't expect the world, as you shouldn't for the price anyway. The internet is really not great, but otherwise you'll be comfortable here. Breakfast is simple, but includes a delicious croissant!

Echt een familie hotel. Erg lieve mensen, maar spreken nauwelijks Nederlands of Engels. Spreken Frans, Italiaans of Spaans. Meeste kamers best donker met veel donker hout. We hebben uiteindelijk upgrade genomen voor lichte kamer. Heel mooi restaurant met heerlijk eten, als je weet wat je gekozen heb. Was een beetje vreemd om als enige gasten aanwezig te zijn. We willen zeker nog wel een keer terug.
