Smartflats Design - Schuman

I want to discuss a full refund due to the fact that we didn’t even end up staying at this flat. There were some sort of ticks and insects ALL over the beds, ceiling and walls. It was unsantitary in so many levels. The stairs were flooded and lights didn’t work.

Its a nice modern apartment that is not well kept. The walls, furniture and carpets are dirty. It was very difficult to communicate with the property. There was smell of smoking. There was a really loud party upstairs on Saturday.

Well equipped flat. Centrally located in the European Quarter. Temperature a little too high despite trying to adjust this using the thermostat. Some lights not working.

Although there is no reception, the communication from Smartflats with the various access codes were clear and concise. The apartment itself was modern, very spacious, clean and in a great location (only gripe is that some additional towels would have been useful)

Very comfy, neat & clean. Spacious which can accommodate 5-6 people. Good location with a 5 min walk to EU commission for those who go there for meetings or business. The only downside was their very strict check in/check out policy being at 3:00 p.m. and noon so not highly recommended if your flight schedule is not flexible.

The flat was perfectly located, close to the Metro station and our meeting. It would have saved us time if there were detailed instructions of how to find the flat from the metro station (it's not obvious as there are roads at two levels). The flat itself was comfortable and well equipped, but the decor was dispiriting: mostly grey but some rooms (one bedroom and the toilet) had black walls. One wall of the kitchen / living room is all glass, but without any blind or curtain so you are on full display. In summary, the decor was dismal, but otherwise the flat was very convenient. There were no staff, so please ignore our rating of them.

The only downside to this accommodation is the incredibly loud noise associated with the main front door and apartment doors closing. Multi-lingual notices asking occupants to prevent door slamming would be good.

Great flat. Great conditions. Its just a pitty that wifi did not work with provided password..

The light of the stairs didn't work

Du fait du grand froid lors de mon arrivée et de mon arrivée tardive (23h), j'ai pris la peine de contacter l'hébergeur pour m'assurer que le chauffage serait bien allumé avant mon arrivée et que je disposerai d'une couverture d'appoint. Pourtant, le chauffage n'était pas allumé lorsque je suis arrivée (15° dans l'appartement). Autres points : escalier raide à gravir dans le noir (aucune lumière ne fonctionnait); le numéro de l'appartement n'était pas précisé (il a donc fallu composer le code à 12 caractères à chaque porte jusqu'à ce que l'une s'ouvre ... dans le noir le plus total); un filet d'eau tiède permettant difficilement de se laver tant dans la douche que dans la baignoire; un ménage plus qu'approximatif (impossible de poser les pieds par terre, sol des WC très sale, couverture supplémentaire très sale : je ne l'ai pas utilisée malgré la température); pas de connexion internet et une couverture en 3G seulement ne permettant pas de partage de connexion... Enfin, j'étais seule dans cet immeuble (ce qui n'est pas surprenant au vu de la qualité des prestations) : très insécurisant pour une femme seule lorsque les parties communes ne sont même pas éclairées !!! J'ai fortement regretté de ne pas être allée à l'hôtel même si la situation géographique est très intéressante. Les photos ne sont pas trompeuses car cet appartement a du être de qualité mais il n'est pas entretenu (seuls points positifs : un lit correct et des draps et serviettes propres)

Spacious apartment in a perfect location, a short walk from the European Commission and the metro. Unfortunately, WIFI was not working and there was hardly any mobile phone signal in the apartment, so I was working in a cafe outside the apartment.

Es totalmente austera, las fotos que expedía publica no tienen nada que ver con la realidad. Tiene un patio que estaba muy sucio, ni siquiera le dieron una barrida antes de que llegáramos, en una de las eecamaras había telarañas. No tenía nada de decoración y muy raro lo de los baños ya que había 2 lavabos, 1 regadera, una tina y completamente aparte en la entrada del departamento, 1 WC. Si es amplio y está bien situado. Pero nos desilusionó. Le escribimos para preguntar si había lavadora y secadora de ropa y no me contestaron. Claro que no tenia.

Also das Apartment an sich ist sehr schön und groß ABER der Service ist eine Frechheit. Wir hatten für 5 Personen gebucht und nur 4 hatten Platz, nachdem wir dies bei dem Vermieter gemeldet hatten sagte dieser per Email, dass er sich AM NÄCHSTEN TAG drum kümmert! Eine Frechheit! Unsere fünfte Person musste auf dem ( extrem dreckigen ) Sofa schlafen und wir bekamen KEINE Entschuldigung weder eine Entschädigung! Es wurden auch nicht außreichend Handtücher gebracht. Das Sofabett war noch dazu extrem verdreckt ( GESUNDHEITSGEFÄHRDEND!!! ) Wäre der Service besser, wäre es eine super Möglichkeit, aber es ist so definitiv NICHT zum weiterempfehlen, gibt genug billigere mit besseren Service.

Great experience generally. Toilet could need a bit of paint. A bit of noise from a crying child above. Not much to do about it, I guess.

Très bon séjour. Pour la sécurité porte d'entrée bâtiment ne ferme jamais : inquiétant non?
