Entry road should to the Resort should be repaired

It is a beautiful resort. Wish they would add complementary water to avoid running down to reception to get water as it is a hot and humid place

Everything was very nice but I think there was bed bugs on the bed just thought it was mosquitoes at the time.

The property area is away from the downtown and is very serene. Beautiful pool and facility is nice. Restaurant food and drinks are mediocre, and staff barely speaks English.

This property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful pool, restaurant, and lounge. The rooms were large, beds comfy, and it was extremely clean and well maintained. Great value. Would highly recommend.

Great resort with great location. Porto Preguicas was all my family of 5 was looking for with spacious rooms (1 king, 3 single beds), great staff (1 member spoke good English), travel agency counter across reception desk, easy access to activities, and great service. Will visit again when I have the chance again.

A estrada que da acesso ao hotel precisa urgentemente de reparos, pois esta muito ruim. A piscina é bastante agradável, especialmente a de azulejo. A outra tem areia no fundo, curiosa, mas um pouco estranha rs. Comida do restaurante muito boa e pessoal muito atencioso! Curti!

Very good hotel! Restaurant serves delicious food. The only drawback is the entrance which needs pavement improvements. Overall, very good hotel!

Hot water was broken in the room. Good thing that they offer free kayak on the preguicas river. That was fun

Porto Perguicas is three and a half hours by day from Sao Luis which is the nearest airport, and by night, four and a half hours. The entrance of Porto Preguicas Resort is beaten down as well as the road. However, once inside the facility, it is very pretty, and they have an array of things to do inside the facility too. The lodges are clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms (bathroom lacked some bathroom amenities), and AC unit cools magnificent. I ONLY which it had wifi service inside the rooms, and not just only in the common areas. The breakfast was amazing as well as the food and drinks! The one downfall is that the staff is not bilingual,; and when I spoke to them, it was in Portuñol (a mix of Portuguese and Spanish), and their English was very limited to none. Would I stay at Porto Perguicas Resort again? Absolutely, YES! It was a very nice experience and very relaxing! You need to be open minded and enjoy other cultures.

Overall, I would stay at the resort. Nevertheless, the entrance to the resort as well as the road need TLC. When you enter the resort, it is somewhat dilapidated, but once inside it is very, very nice. The lodges are very clean and comfortable. It just needs to have wifi in the rooms and more bathroom amenities for travelers who are visiting Brazil and have been traveling for over two weeks. Finally, the breakfast and the food overall was amazing as well as the service.

Good hotel, has a good restaurant on-site, the staff and service were very great. Great outdoor pools you can use till late at night. We enjoyed our stay here

This is a lovely resort with very nice family friendly amenities. But the rooms are full of mosquitoes and instead of a mosquito net they just give some very toxic spray. We had a hard time sleeping due to mosquitoes. There was also some miscommunication with the staff but we only speak English and Spanish. The pools are lovely and the waotstaff at the restaurant and bar were wonderful as was breakfast.

The Porto Preguicas Resort is a beautiful spot on the river. Rooms are comfortable, the property is well maintained and a restful, peaceful location with good food to recover from travel and a jump off to Lencois. The stafff is helpful and considerate.

Free WiFi never worked for us. Staff does not speak English. The hotel is in a way self-contained, it is good if you want to spend all your time there and do excursions out of the hotel. If you want to explore on your own a bit - that requires escaping from the hotel infrastructure.
