Very good budget hotel in the centre of Battambang, a few minutes walk from the market and restaurants.
Warm and welcoming room, comfy bed and no problems whatsoever. Both room and bed are very big.

Okay hotel with great location - stayed for two nights. The staff does not speak English, but they do their best. Hotel is near several great places to eat. We did not have breakfast there - we went to Cafe HOC, $3 excellent buffet, just around the corner from the hotel.

The room and the staff was mostly good. On the second night I came back to my room without power. He kindly gestured me it's ok and I should go back up to my room. I just stood there. After an awkward 30 seconds he flipped the breaker behind him. Came back to the room and the power was magically on.

A nice hotel with really nice and friendly staff! Particularly Sal our tuk tuk driver. Unfortunately the bed was rock solid and there was no air con just a small fan making it extremely hot. It was cheap so we couldn't complain to much but it meant two uncomfortable nights sleep. Location was perfect and the pool was lovely.

Pros - good location and nothing was stolen from my room
Cons - so many to mention ! I thought it was very dirty , AC leaked water in two different rooms , two TVs in a room : both of which didn't work - dirty , disorganised and pricey for what you get

Lux Guesthouse very basic but close enough to everything. The hotel didn't have a restaurant or pool but the sister hotel about 300m walk down the road served us breakfast and had a lovely pool for use at any time. We visited the temple on the mountain and saw the bats fly out at sunset which was great. Bamboo train a crazy but fun experience. There are plenty of tours around the area. Hotel room clean but bathroom a strange design where everything is always wet as shower is in a bad position. Markets only have food on offer, no souvenirs to buy.

We booked two beds, but giving a room with one. Asked for two bed room and when we walked in the room, the room was not cleaned. Tried the third bedroom and kept that one. Hot water was good, beds OK. Traveled in Cambodia for a month and every place had electric pot for hot water to make coffee or tea, this place didn't.
Also the website said it has a pool. One have to walk to a different hotel to use the pool, ask for a pool ticket at the reception. Short walk, the pool was nice. You get what you paid.

Decent location and price. Helpful staff, moved us to lower floor on request on day 2. Beds comfy but first had a spring sticking out and TV in first room was fuzzy. Fan in room 2 was broken in the on position. Overall a good budget option.

Very basic room but was the A/C was good. Other than that very very basic. Breakfast was good but was in a different hotel so to was the pool. Free pick up from the bus station without us booking ahead. The tuk tuk driver was also very good and we used him for two other trips where he was knowledgable and fairly priced with no haggling. We also had to use our own adapter to plug in the fridge. So nothing special at all.
