Laurent is a very friendly and engaging host, helping us with our bags and providing good advice on places of interest, restaurants etc. The room we had is well designed and tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds. We had a dormer room with sloped ceiling over the bed. The floor and the bed mattress creaked/groaned; there was too much "stuff" in the room, with too little light. Opening the dormer windows (thankfully with screens) helped and provided a nice view of the river, as well as fresh air (no AC). There was loud music from an entertainment venue nearby on one night. The hosts were very nice and the breakfasts were very good.
