Cambridge Suites Hotel

Check in staff member was very pleasant and it was quick and easy. Halls and rooms are dark and it is an older building. We had a room with a pull out sofa. There were no sheets/ blankets however they brought some no problem but the blanket was just a thin fleece one which wasn’t great. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was so loud that we couldn’t use it, needs to be replaced. Parking garage was great but a tad pricey. Breakfast was great! The banana muffins were delicious, lots of fresh fruit and the hash browns were really good. Hats off to the folks preparing the food as it was all well down and presented nicely! If you wanted bacon or sausage you had to pay for that however there were enough options without. The seating area was really nice also. Overall the stay was good with the breakfast being the highlight.

Great location was able to walk to the places I needed to be. Room was large and comfortable. Some of the services looked a little dated, like the elevators and the parking lot.

The room was spacious and clean, we could have used a few more hangers in the closet and I'm sure we could have just asked at the front desk. The breakfast was a step above your basic continental breakfast but served our needs just fine. They were very accommodating by combining 2 adjacent registrations so we didn't have to change rooms and easily added parking when we decided to rent a car later in our stay. The rooftop patio would have been nice in good weather and the fitness area was basic but served its purpose.

Pros: Great staff! Really respectful, respectable, and professional. Clean room. Good breakfast. Great location. Love the rooftop balcony. Gym. Cutlery available upon request. Heater available upon request. Cons: Slippers are not included and you have to buy them. No safe in room. Centralized heating means when they switch to cooling you do not have heating at all. Asked for a heater, provided promptly but it never worked. The room had an unexpected shortage of electrical plugs. This was the first hotel I've been to in a very long time that didn't have any plugs next to the bed.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. For the cost of a stay, which also included an addition fee of $27 a night for onsite parking, the quality of the breakfast was not even as good as you would get at a much cheaper hotel, based on personal experience. It is a typical buffet, cafeteria style, adjacent to the dining area. The breakfast choices were also typical, but the lack of either bacon or sausages, was disappointing. Even worse, we then discovered that they were available, but had to be specifically ordered and to top it off, at a cost that f $5 per serving!! As noted, the staff and room were excellent. However, the breakfast was not what one would expect at similarly priced accommodations. One other point concerns the labelling of the individual breakfast choices: poor printing and several spelling mistakes - boile eggs, sarce (sauce) basically looking like a child had done it. - someone should be checking this. The other notable observation was the lack that of any food available other than breakfast e crit for a few snacks or drinks available by requesting through the front desk. There was wine in the room, both red and chilled white, but only by the bottle for $35. There were a couple bottles of room temperature water (should have been in the mini fridge along with the white wine), and not good quality water, judging by the poor taste. All this not to say I wouldn’t stay here again, as the convenience to downtown is a huge plus. I just wouldn’t have breakfast there.

Cambridge is located close to everything in the centre of the city plus has ample underground parking available . The Breakfast is also a bonus , plus the breakfast room is spacious with a lot of windows so very bright and clean

The hotel and accommodations were great, but a little dated. I recommend updating the TVs to smart TV for a more enjoyable experience.

did not like paying for parking and the filters needed to be changed in the ac unit. staff were great and a good breakfast . thank you

The room was very clean, staff was excellent, didn't have time for breakfast unfortunately, parking was a little expensive. The location was great!!

Nice hotel, walking distance to so many places. Breakfast was very good. Parking rate was very reasonable. Lobby and breakfast area very nice. Great gym. Room are showing age but very clean
