Embarc Panorama

I stayed 4 nights at this property. The room itself was nice and clean, however the bed and pillows were a serious problem. The mattress was extremely soft and worn. My body sank into a V shape in every sleeping position. I was waking up every 2 hours throughout the night, and on several occasions I was awake from 3–5 AM. The only time I managed about 5 hours of sleep was after returning from a bar when I had been drinking, which clearly shows how uncomfortable the bed was under normal conditions. For the last two nights, I tried sleeping on the couch, but that was uncomfortable as well and too short to sleep properly. I was literally counting the days until I could go back home. As a result of this stay, I ended up with lower back pain and now need to use muscle relaxants to get it under control. For the price paid, I would expect a solid, supportive mattress, not an old, overly soft one that makes proper rest impossible. Unfortunately, this stay seriously affected my sleep and health.

This is one of those places you want to return to again and again. No surprises, everything was as expected and maybe even better. Very spacious and clean property, hot-tub at less than 10 metres away and very close to the gondola as well. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and the two bedrooms and the pull-out sofa in the living room were more than enough for our party of five.

Stunning condo!

We loved being right on the crystal waters of Toby Creek. The Riverbend units are beautiful. They're rustic and luxurious at the same time. Our kids loved their twin beds and large TV. They liked telling us we couldn't use their private bathroom. We enjoyed playing games we borrowed from the Embarc lounge by the fire and sneaking off to the nearby hot tub for an evening soak. The hot tub nearby these units has change rooms onsite, so there's no frozen walk back to your unit. There are plenty of hot tubs throughout Panorama, and we loved these ones best. A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF! The housekeeping staff obviously care a great deal about their work. Every drawer was immaculate. They made little folds in the paper towel to make it crisp and clean. They signed a little note for us, and our youngest daughter drew a little picture back to them to say thank you. We appreciated their attention to detail. Every staff member in Panorama, but especially the Embarc staff, were lovely. We went in shoulder season, which we've done before, but I guess we were a little bit later than we normally are. The restaurants and cafes were closed to gear up for winter. One coffee shop was open in the Approach Hotel. This was okay for us because our intention was always to rest in our unit by the creek. It may be good to know for others. If you are looking to access the restaurants, check the Panorama website to see when they're open for your stay.

Amazing place!

Extremely good place

The price was way high for the quality of the facility and room. My ceiling fan did not operate and had years of dust on it. There was hair and debris on the table and counters. Dated finishes and the price point and resort fees were very high compared to the accommodations.

It’s in a very nice quite area love it

Had bad weather but that happens in the mountains. The room was excellent with all the comforts including full kitchen and a jacuzzi spa tub, but I found myself craning my head around in the hall and stairway windows to get a better mountain view. I think I will need another stay to get the full experience.
