Our room 224 looked out on a recycling area( the delivery spot) where tons of cardboard was in a mess and a huge stagnant puddle of dirty water. (which with all the rain probably couldn’t be helped!)
It wasn’t a big deal but since we were staying there for my Mother’s funeral it was an issue for me.

A little disappointed in the room. Have stayed here several times, Seems like we’re staying the older section of the building. Example lower floor, not as clean as usual noticeable wear and tear. Spoiled by larger flat screen, fridge surface pretty beat up & microwave has burn through on door. Room # 118. Would really like the option to choose a room that I’ve previously stayed in. We will return. Love this stop. Thank you.

Staff are always friendly. Side entrance/smoking area never kept clean - garbage was overflowing and stank. Kept getting 2 Lotions & 1 Conditioner but NO Shampoo. Also not happy the $200 Hold on my Credit Card has still NOT cleared from my credit card and I checked out 7 days ago.

This hotel needs to be renovated. Washroom is extremely small and toilets are way too low. The pillows were very uncomfortable as well.

Bed was uncomfortable, with a big bow in the middle. Had a very poor sleep 1st night and sore back the next day. View was of a garbage area.
Replacement room for the next night, bed was a bit better, view definitely better.
Noisy, not from hwy but from within the hotel. Banging and other noises.
Liked the restaurant.

View was good from our room, place was clean and tidy.
No room freshener were there, tv wasn’t working so it was pretty boring and we waited for long time on reception to handover the room keys but nobody was available there.

Front desk staff very friendly. BUT I could not get them on the phone. Always had to go to front desk. Tried several different times Taking a shower the water would drain so slow I was more than ankle deep in water. It was the weekend so only solution was wait until Monday or possibly change rooms
My key card consistently stopped working - every time I went out. Had to go to front desk to reprogram it each time. Clearly no maintenance on weekends

Staff absolutely amazing and helpful. Bed, chair, bathroom - need some serious refurbishing. The chair in our toom was ripped up. One could not sit in it.

The linens were nice and fresh. Decor was original. Wallpaper seams were taped together with cleat wide tape. Ceiling boarders were held up with tacks. Overall the place is in despondent of update. The waitress at Pipers Pub was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Room needs Help!

We were only here for one night and we arrived late (thanks to the train), so this is not a full review as that wouldn't be fair. The staff couldn't have been nicer, no problems there at all. The pool was small, but it was open and clean for our morning swim. I found the bathroom was quite small. Two people would not fit (not for that reason, you naughty people,
I'd imagine a parent and child, for example, would find it tight). Overall the property has seen better days and the room needed a good clean, but the beds were comfortable and we would stay again.
