Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown from April 9th to April 12th. Traveling with my mom and dad, we felt right at home. The suite was spacious and comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the downtown location made everything easily accessible. A very memorable and pleasant family stay despite of an unfortunate event that happened over the wkend. The front desk staff member (I believe his name is Abler) was very accommodating and friendly. He kindly offered me the option to park my vehicle in the open parking lot behind the hotel, which is also owned by the property, instead of using one of the affiliated parking garages. Overall, everything during check-in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. However, a serious incident occurred on Saturday around 2:15 a.m. My vehicle was broken into—someone shattered the rear passenger window in an attempt to steal my truck. Fortunately, the front desk staff member Sammy and the security officer (I believe his name is Anthony) responded quickly after spotting the activity on the surveillance cameras. By the time they arrived, one individual had already entered the vehicle and appeared to have interfered with my Ring camera, causing it to stop recording. When hotel staff approached, both suspects fled to a getaway vehicle that was waiting nearby. Thankfully, the security vehicle was positioned in front of my truck, which helped for them not to complete their act.

I was surprised that the breakfast was hot and not just continental. The room looked new and the stay was great!

Room was quiet and clean

This location was perfect fo shopping and dining out. The staff was very friendly and greeted us each time with a great smile. The room was clean and perfect fo our 5 day stay. Enjoyed th exercise room and they had washing and drying facilities. The breakfast was not as good.

Clean room. Friendly helpful staff, wifi and walking distance to Bell Centre, shopping and restaurants.

Great location, close to metro, union station and Bell.center. variety of food nearby and steps from Sainte Catherine. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and great breakfast.

Great location, large very clean and modern rooms with all the necessities. Breakfast staff was incredibly kind and diligent. Great variety of food! Loved our stay. Only thing missing is a hot tub or sauna but would 10/10 stay here again.

The breakfast options were minimal. Being in Montreal I would expect better bakery products

Great location

The staff is great but the free breakfast was a disappointment, Everyday you did not know what to expect. Eggs and bacon , next day Eggs and sausage, so on and so forth. One dat there are oranges, next apples. It was not consistent. My bathroom was very small , it was hard to get into the shower and one of my least favorite bathrooms ever.

Super convenient location and all the reception staff are incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful!!

Nice set up, including desk and small kitchen. This would qualify as a long term stay hotel, but definitely much nicer than your typical long term stay.
