Stayed here for two nights. Staff amazing, so helpful to a person of the older years travelling on their own. Thought it would be full of young back packers but NO it was all ages. Meet lots of interesting people. thanks to the young man who carried my case up 3 flights of stairs. and the one who carried it down lol. clean, well looked after very good rate for two nights. would not go back to the one I stayed in on arrival in Vancouver. it needs to come look around this place and get some ideas. thanks for making my stop over on the way home to NZ. safe, and looking out for me.

Staff ( especially Beth and Sandra ) were great! It was wonderful to have a nice breakfast of protein, vegetables, and bread. It was nice to have a free tour done by Sandra to see some of the city. Beth helped us get Uber ride set up the night before for early early morning. The staff is very servant oriented. The only complaint I have is that they push the gay agenda really hard, with signage all over the buildingand that’s not appealing to many people.

The stay was very nice! I had my whole bike touring set up, and they had a place to store things so I could go around the city without all my gear. The staff was very helpful and patient, and Samesun was a great starting point for heading up the coast. My only major concern was how hot the rooms were. Even with AC running all night, the upper bunks were too hot to sleep well in. I would highly recommend some kind of fan to get more air circulation.

We had a great stay at Samesun Vancouver. Beth checked us in and was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is fantastic and made it easy to explore the city. The only downside was that there isn’t an elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up some fairly steep stairs. Aside from that, it was a great experience, and we’d happily recommend it to others.

Excellent hostel! J’y ai passé un très bon séjour. L’endroit est propre, sécuritaire et très bien situé au cœur de Vancouver. Le personnel est accueillant, serviable et toujours prêt à aider. Les lits sont confortables, les casiers sont pratiques et le déjeuner gratuit est un vrai plus. L’ambiance est conviviale, parfaite pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs. Staff were extremely helpful. Great breakfast for a place like that. Focus on healthy and eco friendly. Bunker bed was smaller than I expected for an adult. But it was a great use of space and cozy. Walk right into the street to get to anywhere- bus stops, food, hospital, everything is in walking distance.

Everything was perfect during our weekend stay during the World Cup! Check-in was a breeze, did it online before arriving. Staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Our room was ready early and clean. The location is perfect!

It was first time I have stayed in a setup like this it was fantastic I will definitely do it again even though there was a world cup going on it was a simple process and convenient location clean inside attentive staff which made for a great check in
