The lady at check in moved me to a room with one queen bed. I had booked one with two, as that was what was listed as the least expensive option, but I am the only one staying here, so I only need the one bed. The best thing about the room is that you basically park right outside and it is a ground floor room. So much more convenient. Breakfast was a brown bag with two packaged muffins and two juice boxes. The coffee maker is what I call a 'tea bag' one. Microwave and fairly big bar sized fridge worked fine. This room had a jet tub that I didn't use and a walk in shower in a fairly large bathroom. Also a fireplace and doors to a patio - but it's winter so I didn't go out. There were a couple of glass wine glasses on the mantle which I thought would have been a nice touch if I'd had the opportunity to use them! It shows it age in spots, but I would still come back.

We've gone a few times over the years and got upgraded to one of the executive suites for free this. That was a welcome change. Thanks for another good time.

The pictures of the rooms and property have to be older than 10 years. It is not nearly as nice in person and there’s weird smells everywhere you go they also have automated air spray in the hall ways to make it smell better it doesn’t btw. And the toilets ours could barely flush pee let alone someone actually using it. Would not recommend booking even for the decent price book somewhere else where you’ll actually enjoy your time.

My wife and I have been staying there for 2 new ownerships and 3 new management changes. So for this trip I see that they are trying hard to freshing up and seems to looking better. Just little things like keeping the grounds in better condition and cleaner.

Our king executive suite was very nice.The room had been renovated.The check-in area had been renovated, as had our room.The hallways were clean and the czrpet looked fairly new .The breakfast area was clean and coffee was very good and the food was fine.
The outside is in the process of being updated and painted.The landscape needs some TLC.Our room had a little screened in patio, with comfortable furniture and looked out onto a treed ,green space.It will be nice when the work is completed.We had a nice time and enjoyed our Gananoque staycation.Thank-you

The only fault of mine was how far away the hotel as from Downtown Kingston. I had $200 out of pocket because there are no cabs in that town. I wanted to check out earlier than seven but the doors were closed.I understand times are very hard these days but they should’ve had someone do the night shift in case someone gets sick, etc. The room really wasn’t that clean but for one night passable. If one comes they should only stay the night and no longer. Thank you. Jonathan.

Room & Comfort:
The room was clean, quiet, and functional. The beds were fairly comfortable, with decent linens and pillows. It’s not fancy, but it has what you need: TV, mini-fridge, microwave, and good water pressure in the shower. Some rooms have updated decor, while others feel a bit dated.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at check-in. They provided local recommendations and were quick to respond to requests. Housekeeping did a good job during our stay.
