There was a large group “family” playing loud music and children running and screaming unsupervised- seemed like a two bedroom with over 12 people. Unfortunately, if you are looking for a nice quiet, relaxing place to stay this may not be it. There was also another “large family” that left garbage all over their eating area - even though it was clearly communicated to clean up af yourself - in order to ensure wildlife are safe. It’s obvious that these “families are not aware of the impact their behaviour has on others staying in the same area.

Excellent hotel! The location is right across the lake, perfect. rooms are spacious, very clean with all the amenities you need. Plenty of wildlife and hikes nearby.

This is the third time we’ve stayed here and each time we have enjoyed it very much.
We’ve only been here in the winter but it has been lovely each time. The cabins are warm and cosy with fireplaces and TVs.
The cabins are clean and there is lots of room.
This resort / hotel allows dogs as well which is amazing!
There’s lots of hiking nearby which is a huge attraction as well!

We stayed at sunrise #8 the size of the unit is big enough to accommodate four people and a medium size dog. We loved their dog park good for our dog to do some exercise. The unit was clean especially the floor and also the heat and hot water worked very well. We had a quiet Family Day long weekend at Tally Ho.

Cabins are true cabins. All the comfort of a home but in a rustic cabin format. When you escape your house for a change, this is what you want.

The only thing I would say needed was a bucket and shovel for the fireplace…we used the recycling bin and a piece of cardboard which was messy. Had the fire going the whole time which was lovely! Quaint and quiet, not too fancy, more rustic. Would like to see it in the summer 😎

We snowmobiled here and checkin was easy and the cabin was warm and cozy. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There was an excellent restaurant right across the road.

Second stay in 3 years and still the same nice very well maintained property; relaxing cottages, some fun activitiea ( snowshoes firepits etc)... there might be a 3rd stay one day!!

Love the cleanliness of this place. For a place that's been around for a little while it smells fresh and clean. Well organized and tidy rooms You can adjust the heat in the room and washroom separately, which is great in the winter. Beautiful location, Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks are close by...loved our stay!
