Clean room and staff

Mom and daughter weekend thrifting the south shore!! By far the best hotel I’ve been at in NS! Adults, teen and kids will loveee it! Atmosphere an space in the lobby is fantastic! Great pool! So many things close by and the staff, well they deserve a hand!!! We will be back!

The room was very nice and clean however the small fridge had juice spilled in it. The Tv had very little to watch. No movies or Netflix and only baby cartoons. Nothing for kids between 7-16. The guide on the tv works poorly. The lag on the tv was terrible as well. I hope to speak with a manager about misleading information I received when I called to confirm the pool was open and the hours of use. I was told 8am-10 pm. I clarified that “ tomorrow “ when I was coming that it was open and available to use. I spoke with the front desk at the Yarmouth location and they confirmed again it was open. When we arrived at 6 pm after driving over an hour for a March break overnight we were told the pool was closed from 7-9 for a private party. The intent of this trip was to take a child to the pool. I would never had booked if I was informed of the “ private party”. When the pool opened for everyone from 9-10 it was so crowded the kids could only stand in the pool. It had a maximum occupancy of 25 and it was over that. There were no staff monitoring the pool area. It was so loud most people were covering their ears and we eventually left. The pool is not a normal sized pool. I would expect a larger pool at a hotel but this was similar to a backyard pool. Not adequate during holidays or March break crowds. We were in a nice room on the second floor but could hear the many kids running above us. Although it is a new hotel I would never book again during a busy season or Mar break.

Not bad. The bathrooms are nice. I have bad eyesight in dim light. There didn’t seem to be enough light when getting ready in the morning with the blinds down.

Was a quick stay late check in due to work , but always great

I have stayed at the Tru Hilton a few times and have no complaints. Staff are friendly, hotel is clean, breakfast is good. Also there is a good restaurant next door. Would recommend

Everything was awesome

Everything is great about this hotel. It's very clean in fact it's probably the cleanest Hotel I've ever been at. The only issue I ever have is the lack of a microwave in the room.

We were woke up mutiple times thrkughout our stay. Its too bad that sport teams couldn't be on one floor. Kids screaming ,doors slamming kids running wild . Breakfast was slim pickings at 915 am

The room was very modern and clean, and the staff were very welcoming. The TV was very outdated with limited selection and kept disconnecting, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. It would have been good to know that there were many events happening at the hotel when booking so we could have chosen to stay elsewhere on Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, the hotel was very loud due to many groups running in the halls and lobby which has been the case both times we have stayed.

Overall good hotel. Wish there was a microwave but it’s ok for the price point. Will gladly book again. Front desk personnel is very professional and customer service oriented.
