Katherine was very friendly and flexible regarding the check in and check out time.
I highly recommend staying there for a family vacation. The hotel provides transfer which made us feel safe since we arrived at 3 am.

It fit our family of 6 just fine, with room for 1 more comfortably. They were able to accomodate our luggage after we checked out so we could make the most of our last day in Santiago. A great space for a family to enjoy downtown together.
Bring your own soaps/shampoos etc. Plenty of places nearby to purchase all you need when you arrive. Right between a couple of metro lines and plenty of public transportation available.

The apartment was extremely dirty: windows, floors, and the kitchen. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, both among the dishes and on the floor. It was difficult to tell whether the bed linen was fresh. The place urgently needs a very thorough cleaning. Host responsive, location ok

We weren't expecting much because we were not going to spend much time in the apartment, but it was very basic. The hot water must have only worked between certain times of the day because as we arrived late the first night the shower wouldn't heat up. We also found the same with mornings, we had excursions planned and had to be up early so not being able to shower as and when required didn't help. This wasn't communicated and I'm only assuming this was the case with the hot water.

Quiet on weekends with limited stores open. Weekdays are ideal, near restaurants, bars, stores, groceries, museums and parks. Staff very accommodating . Pool area is a little run down and balcony furniture would be appreciated . Good value for price.

This place does not have A/C. No one speaks English. There was ZERO communication with whoever actually owns the apartment. The security guard had our keys. The pool deck had broken boards that were dangerous to walk on. There is no laundry even though it is advertised. The apartment itself was highly dangerous. We were on the 7th floor and the windows had no screens. My daughter's bunk bed was right up next to the window. We had to move it so she wouldn't accidently roll out the window. It was a deathtrap. There was a chunk of hair in the bathroom drain, stains on the beds, really old pillows, barely enough towels. I would not stay here.

VIP apartments was a reasonable price for central Santiago, but I wouldn’t recommend it for people arriving late in the evening or those who don’t have a competent level of Spanish. Although reception is 24 hours, it’s a very large residential building and the people on reception didn’t seem to be responsible for dealing with guests! I had to go up to a small office to collect my key and pay. While the staff I dealt with were professional, the context didn’t give me confidence that my booking was “official”. The apartment itself was ok, but looked a bit “tired”.

The hotel is very dirty, and many items are in tatters. It is completely different from the pictures I saw online. There are also some self-proclaimed cleaning staff who often ring the doorbell in the morning, even though it is not my check-out time yet. There is no redeeming feature except that it is very close to attractions such as the Plaza de Armas.
