First time I checked in, the receptionist told me they never had my reservation. So I told him that I booked eith Expedia and I gave him my copy of the bookking. I waited 30 minutes and he told me that he needs to make a new reservation. So I said OK. He never once apologized about having me waiting for this whole check in process. He then gave me a key to the room and when I got to my room, the room was untidy (hasn't been cleaned from the previous guest). I was so disappointed that I had to go back down and complained. But I had to talk to another receptionist as the previous receptionist cannot understand me well. I waited another 30 minutes and finally got a new room without any compensation whatsoever. However the new receptionist did apologize for the mistake. I went to my room being a little upset and when I was showering, the new receptionist called me and told me that the manager would like to upgrade my room. Elaine came to my room and personally apologized for the inconveniences they had caused and hand delivery my new room key. I like how they ended up fixing the problem. However the first receptionist definitely screw up my experience with Hilton. I had stayed at Hilton so many times and only this time I was disappointed.

Convenient location, good breakfast buffet, and excellently maintained rooms.

Hotel service is excellent and its very new. We had a Deluxe Room which is facing the Bay. Splendid night view of the Bay and the fountain with light display in the nights. Amenity is pretty good, however, if you need to go to the Xiamen Island, it is a bit far to travel. Maybe when the subway is ready it would be a different story.

The room’s quite hot and stuffed as it’s central airccon. However the staff is quite helpful once we reflect the problem.

It is a new hotel and the condition is new. However, the Housekeeping only did minimal packing without vacuuming the floor. Shops around are under renovation. Taxi is not readily available too. Hotel has nice view though.

30 mins from airport, a bit far away from tourist place, need to get a crab to go out. nice new hotel, nice view on the bay, especially in the night. Breakfast is free if you book the Executive Room. happy hour in Executive lounge was great.

This is a beautiful hotel with stunning views of the ocean at Xiamen. The staff were kind and very concerned with helping the guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Overall, the hotel stay was average. Most aspects were acceptable, though not particularly outstanding. One notable issue was the behavior of some guests — for example, someone was smoking in the lobby during my stay, which was unpleasant and surprisingly, no one stopped him. There was also a noticeable odor in the room upon arrival. It wasn’t very pleasant at first. However, I eventually got used to it after the first night. While the stay was manageable, a bit more attention to cleanliness and air quality would certainly improve the experience.
