Every day is great when I stay

Super nice and comfortable suite. There are two bedrooms with two full bath rooms, both living room and dining room are spacious. There are also study room and kitchen area . Welcome gifts and happy hour afternoon tea and free the first round mini bar are touch . The breakfast is delicious and all staffs are helpful and professional. In a word , we have a very wonderful time to stay in Jin Jiang hotel Shanghai . Highly recommended.

The hotel’s location is super convenient for both shopping and transportation. There are many restaurants around the hotel. Check in staffs are nice and helpful. The suite room is beyond my expectation. It’s so spacious and has an excellent arrangement. Also a nice view, quiet environment and comfortable rooms. Happy hour afternoon tea is a wonderful touch. In short, it’s an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location and ambience. Satisfactory brekfast. Room comofrtable. Problems: staff helpful but spoke only limited Englis; room had frosted widows that blocked any view, a a real shortfall.

Very helpful staff and amenities and reasonable price

I must say that I was very impressed with this hotel. The location is great and the property itself is well taken care of. However, I do have two major gripes about this hotel. The first is that there is a no smoking policy that they don’t enforce at all. Sometimes, as soon as the elevator doors open and I enter my floor, the whole floor smells like cigarette smoke because people smoke in their rooms with the hallway doors open. At other times some guests smoke with their door closed but their cigarette smoke still gets in the hallway but just not as strong. Either way, it’s disgusting and I don’t understand why hotels in China are so worried about enforcing their own no smoking policy. This is not the only hotel that has this problem as I’ve stayed in a number of hotels in Shanghai that have this problem and doesn’t do anything to stop it. On my last day as I was leaving to check out, I noticed a cigarette butt on the floor next to the elevator. I guess the person was kind enough to not get in the elevator with a lit cigarette. If the smoking doesn’t bother you then I guess this hotel will be great for you. I’ve tried to complain at other hotels and nothing gets done. Either they will offer to move you to a different floor or even upgrade your room but nothing really happens to the offender, they most likely will get a small penalty if at all but nothing to deter them from going it again. My second gripe is the Chinese restaurant on the 12 floor, it was horrible and expensiv

I had a really unpleasant experience at this hotel. All of my cosmetics were tampered with—half of each product was scooped out. I reported this to the hotel manager, but they dismissed it, saying I had no video proof that their staff did it. Honestly, who installs a camera in a hotel bathroom? It was baffling. I just want to caution others to be extremely careful with their valuables here.

Workspace is excellent!

Great area. Moved rooms because the heater could not be lowered below 24° which was far too hot. Staff were very accommodating. Breakfast looks good. Bedrooms are extremely spacious and clean.

Room spotless. Impressed Front desk staff not courteous. Did not smile once. No welcome. No how to get to room. No nothing. Not a language barrier-just not friendly at all.
