JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu

One of the standout features of the hotel is its exceptional Executive Lounge. Guests can indulge in a refined afternoon tea experience, followed by a selection of high-quality early evening dining options, all while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline. The ambiance, service, and culinary offerings create an atmosphere of exclusivity and relaxation. The only notable drawback is the generally limited proficiency in English among the staff, which may present minor communication challenges for international guests. However, their hospitality and willingness to assist largely compensate for this aspect, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay.

This hotel is best managed, with friendly staff who are customer centric. Achieving this consistency is rare across their difference service departments from front desk, to house keeping to dinning. Kudos to everyone!

Highly recommend the suite. The view is stunning, especially from the bathtub. Also remember to ask for a smoke free room.

I am rather happy with my stay in the JW Marriott here, however, the only thing bothers me is the elevator system they have. You'll have to use two elevators to go up or go down.

The hotel is beautiful and very luxurious. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Executive lounge complimentary drinks are time limited to 7 to 9pm in the evening (which is not advertised clearly on here or the website). Restaurant closes early with only room service available. Room service menu is only in Chinese with limited options. Sauna and steam room closed during my visit which wasn't explained at check-in. Management ignored emails of concerns. Nice hotel but very poor service. I would recommend Hyatt or Hilton instead.

Room is very spacious and the bathroom is amazing. Breakfast is good and the selection is very wide, so even if I had to stay for 5 nights, I still won't feel like just eating the same few dishes again. Excellent location, 5min walk to Tianfu Square and 10min walk to Chunxi Shopping Area. Room is very clean and having a conference there is a very good choice, with good service and all.

Beautiful hotel centrally located. You can walk to shops and restaurants... even walk to the theater. Staff were outstanding! Any request I made, they took care of.
