Hotel Dorado Plaza Bocagrande - All Inclusive

To many people outside selling! Can’t enjoy beach or shopping areas

Nos hospedamos en Sea biew y las ventanas estaban muy sucias, no se apreciaba la vista.

Staff was wonderful the area was nice across the street from the beach couldn’t be in a better location.

The ac in our room was not working properly and they never came to fix it. The WiFi didn’t work properly. There was a small mini bar near the pool but nothing was given to us in our room fridge. When we checked in it took more than an hour for us to be helped even though they saw us with suitcases. The cleaning lady took forever to clean the room and forgot to give us clean towels. We came back one day at 5pm and the room had not been cleaned.

I’ve been to other resorts and even the one in San andres which is the same name and owner I believe is 100 times better than the one in Cartagena. It was the worse experience I had.. towels were extremely old and the over charge for those old towels if something happened to them (you cannot imagen). I asked staff for multiple essential things such an iron since day one, we’ll never got it in the 5 days I stayed there. All inclusive??? There’s no water something as essential as water no you have to go and ask for a 6 oz cup of water (this is very important for someone that don’t drink alcohol) keep in mind to give bottles of water and have some in the room even if you charge some extra dollars it would be much better… The cleaning lady for the room was great, as well as the people in the dinning area they were always helpful.. ohhh almost forgot don’t even think about going inside the pool area if you are not going into the water or going in with a towel because if not you are not allow to go in… good luck staying in this “RESORT” if I were you I would not. Instead go to the one in San andres :) highly recommended.

Please stay away from this place!!! This is not a real all inclusive. Poor customer service. Cockroaches on the room and bath room. Shower full of hair. Humidity on the wall and furniture and doors in bad conditions almost to fall down. Curtains falling down. Don’t waste your time and money on this hotel. Worst experience ever. I loved everything the people were kind and the staff did an amazing job

Ac weak Food all tastes the same. Really weird. No flavor. Everything Busy place. Noise loud music regularly introduced to nauseate the environment Snacks are when available and one bite size piece each. Balcony room a positive Very basic small almost too small room

No nos gustó que el wifi del hotel es pésimo, no llegaba a las habitaciones ni al restaurante, no tenían tanta variedad en comida.

I could write a whole book about my experience, worst hotel ever, we had to leave the hotel in less than 2 hours. - there is no snack bar, there was only a lady handing out potatos, that was the snack bar no other snack. - we got a room on 15th floor and only one elevator was working, we had to wait 5 minutes for the elevator to arrive. -the AC was not working, I called the front desk 3 times and nobody helped me. -no internet at all, as soon as we checked in they gave us a paper to enroll 4 devices, we I try my computer I got less than 1MB when connect but then got disconnected and I was unable to connect again. -when we asked for towels, the towels were dirty, stained and torn. - we talked to the manager (Lida González) about us leaving and she said I will help and she listen all of our arguments, 3 days later Expedia said the hotel refused to do the cancellation because they offered another room, which they never did, she said one thing and did the other, also changing a room would not fix all the issues. -finally Expedia did not help either, they offered me $300 credit with them and I had to book another hotel and pay for all the meals of my family, the only time I needed help from Expedia they did not help, we did not cause any expense to the hotel as we left in less than 2 hours, worst hotel EVER!!!

The AC was not working correctly and the never had enough towels. Food was very plain no taste and it look like they were over whelmed by the people. Swimming pool was to small by the amount of people and very limited time to use the pool. In all very bad choice for me and my girlfriend.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, we didn’t encounter any issues and the staff was friendly. This is an all inclusive, however, the liquor/ cocktail servings were really small, the food was well prepared but it wasn’t anything special. The price was low in comparison to the other hotels, so it was no surprise that it wasn’t as nice as the other places we have stayed before.

Everything was fine. Well, it is a three-star hotel. The only bad thing is that they don't have something different from the buffet. In the hotel description it says that there are two a la carte restaurants but my mom never saw them. My niece got her period and stained the bed and they wanted to charge her for changing the sheet. My mom washes it by hand.

Los snaks de muy baja calidad, solo hay un bartender en hora pico y la fila es larga, al momento del checkout no se puede utilizar más la piscina, para las personas q tienen vuelo en la noche queda uno sin saber q hacer con este calor, y para quedarse en el hotel hasta las 5:00 pm el pasadía cuesta $60.000 por persona, es demasiado costoso para sólo quedarse en la piscina

La Propiedad necesita mucho mantenimiento.

The hotel is in very poor condition, needs lots of maintenance, has no Wi Fi, when we got to the room there was no towels, no bathroom tissue the Air conditioner is very, very poor! we are very disapointed in this place.

Too many people on the hotel. Long lines to get food from the buffet or drinks or to get attended at the front desk.

Lo mejor del hotel son las chicas de recreación. Y los seguridad pero las chicas del comedor no son buena persona se ponen guapa cuando le pides que heche más en el plato.
