Check in was slow, the VIP room didn’t have an ac unit in the room, the showers sub par. You get what you pay for. The room was a full size bed not a queen and it was small.

This hotel was infected with roaches. It's old and zero maintenance. Windows broken and insects crawl im the room. Please pay a little more and stay in a good place. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING HERE! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING! IT SHOULD BE CLOSED AND NOT OPERATING.

The people at the front desk are very rude. My Spanish is not perfect, but I can communicate very well with most all Spanish speakers. The people at the front desk intentionally speak so you cannot understand their Spanish and when you ask them to talk slower, they refuse. One time when I called, they hung up on me. The general manager does speak English, but the people at the front desk will not let people know that they have someone that speaks English. Also, no hot water.

The daytime receptionist is one of the most welcoming receptionists ever! The price for this hotel is very budget friendly. The location is great for restaurants and proximity to the beach. The air-conditioning is wonderful and is maintained at a comfortable temperature day and night. There is a good selection of soft drinks and bottles of water to choose from at the front of the hotel.

BEWARE !
I got robbed by the guy in the reception!
Once i left at night. The reception guy entered my room and STOLE few things among money !
When i came back i felt few things are missing or next day i ask to watch the cameras !
And saw it all ! Have everything on tape !
Owner gave me some money back not all.
Said this guy wont work with them anymore.
Went to police too who did absolutely nothing.
Name of thieve : gabriel.
Real bad and unsafe place.
At all costs.
DO NOT STAY THERE !!!

Veleros Hotel is a hotel for locals (Colombians). It is priced this way so it is quite cheap, around $25 USD per night. Room I stayed in was very small and run down but very clean. In excellent location in Boca Grande. All in all it is a good choice for very budget oriented travelers from the north

Beware ! I got robbed in my room by the receptionist !!! As i went out in the night the reception guy at night took the key and robbed few things from my room. As i came back i notice something weird.
As i ask the manager to look in the cameras....we saw everything !!! Amazing !!!
We went to police. They didnt do nothing !
If your life is important to you...dont go there !

We had stayed there on 10/7 to 10/9/13, On that stay the room on the third floor clean and quiet. When we checked out we were overcharged when we returned we asked about the price diference and right away the switch was off. They said that we did not have a reservation for this stay and the put us in a room that had hair on the floor and was dirty, the sheets too small for the bed, we requested someone to clean it and they ignored us, requested a dif room and they changed us to a better one, but the attitude was rude. Will Never Return!!

Colombians would rate this hotel a three B, bueno, bonito, and barato (good, pretty, and cheap). I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was super friendly. The location is excellent. It is one block from the beach. There are many restaurants in the area. You cannot beat the price for the Boca Grande area. A word of caution: no one speaks English, in the hotel or in the nearby area.

I had a room near the balcony, the hotel was very comfy cozy but far away from any tourist areas. Spanish is a must if you come to this side of town. Be weary of the beach hustlers and never take anything off their hands because you may as well assume you have made the purchase. Acquire all neccessities through your hotel.
