Need a car as it is a little out of the way.
Nice breakfast and the restaurant served lunch & dinner. We a nice dinner with a wonderful view. We enjoyed our stay

This property was pure magic. From my private patio I had a breathtaking view of the volcano and lake. The staff was amazing. Perfect location if you have a car and want to get away for a couple days.

The view at this hotel , the peace, the feeling when you look at the volcano is amazing . The staff is extremely nice and helpful. So work it . We love it . The rooms are huge and beds are so comfortable. Love the grounds. we highly recommended

Incredible views of the volcano and lake! Super friendly and helpful staff. Loved the bird feeders, the window placements, and abundant viewing areas. Rooms are a little dated and sparse (a TV from two decades ago, erratic wifi, and lack of power outlets), but they were clean and comfortable. I would recommend bringing body wash if you don’t like small hand soap to shower with. The breakfast was decent, maybe a tiny step above a continental breakfast. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant for other meals though. It was pricy, mediocre quality, and didn’t taste great. Overall, I would recommend it and would stay here again.

About 30 minutes from the main city but amazing view and close to many activities. The view really is spectacular! Breakfast in the morning was pretty good. you will need a car to get around. Rooms themselves are pretty dated, I got a junior suite and for some reason the two beds were facing each other which was a bit strange.

Hotel with good view, but the rooms are not clean, the beds, shower etc are not comfortable and very much outdated and require a lot of maintenance.
A stay that was quite disappointing. But if you’re here just for the view, then it’s okay I guess.
The restaurant attached to it is quite expensive but excellent.
Plan a 40min trip to la Fortuna. Many big potholes on the way to the hotel.
