Paradise Hot Springs - Thermal Water & Volcano Views

Staff very friendly and good. Hot springs don’t open until 11AM. Relatively small property so can’t really move around—felt like a compound, not a resort. Rooms very large and nice but no views. My wife went ZipLining in the morning and there was essentially nothing for me to do. Pools closed, too small to walk around and even coffee bar not open until 12. Buffet OK but certainly not extensive.

Last year stay was better

It was a great option to have the hot springs nightly. The breakfast was excellent and lots of options including an omelette bar. The food we did pay for at dinner time we were not impressed with but there were excellent dining options in La Fortuna. We did lots of days doing self driving and returning here at night. We were able to do these things from this location: la Fortuna waterfall, Rio Celeste, Arenal 1968 hiking trail, mistico hanging bridges. Only thing they could do is to post to wash your bathing suits after going in the hot springs always as they smell horrible when dry.

The stay was so amazing! Excellent service, huge room that was perfectly clean, comfortable beds! The property is kept in great condition, the pools are exceptional! Excellent views. Easily the best hotel we stayed in the entire trip!

Place was wonderful. Kids loved it. Food was good. Drinks great. All the hot springs were very nice and well maintained. Lots of water temp choices. Beds were very comfortable. The service was great and the staff was very helpful. It was a very pleasant stay. My kids loved it.

We were expecting larger thermal facilities and amenities like towels inside the room, robes etc. Overall the property was clean and well maintained, but compared to other hot springs hotels in the area it was overpriced.

Picture and video doesn't show the beauty of this place and most of all it's people. Everything was amazing,will go back for sure.

Paradise Hot Springs truly lives up to its name! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay in La Fortuna. The setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery with a stunning view of Arenal Volcano right from the property. The hot springs were a highlight—very clean, well-maintained, and the perfect temperature to unwind. The pools are cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The entire property feels very serene and never crowded. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping everything in top condition. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with gorgeous views, clean facilities, and natural hot springs, this is the place to be. Would definitely stay here again!

Special thanks to Samir at the front desk! He was very kind and helped us book some activities. I loved our room location. It was right next to a farm with the cutest donkeys that were very friendly! The food was delicious, but very expensive. The breakfast buffet did not have a huge selection, but it was excellent. The grounds were small, but beautiful. I only wish it had a large cold water swimming pool to cool off.

Very quiet not many people there. No entertainment. Front desk very helpful with everything. Best friend got sick from breakfast for a day and sister got sick from dinner. Food wasnt as good. Hotel beautiful great springs. Drinks not strong at all...we got probably 2 string drinks being there 5days. We left resort to visit other springs about $30pp. We thought we woild got free day pass but wasnt specified.

This could be an amazing property. The view at the coffee shop and the infinity pool is perfect. The hot springs are nice. We had a 3rd floor volcano view room with a hot tub and the room was absolutely phenomenal EXCEPT the hundreds of ants that invaded the room every night and other bugs and lizards. I reported this and was told, "well you are in the rainforest that is normal". I had never been here so I accepted it, although it made it very difficult to sleep. I had to put on shoes (which I kept on the bed) to get up at night and walk to the bathroom. When I say hundreds, I literally mean HUNDREDS of large ants crawling all over the floors, walls, and ceiling. We talked to people at surrounding resorts and they did not have this same experience. The front desk lady said she would have someone spray outside our room but that was all she could do. It did not help at all. We realized that the ants were coming in around the air conditioner and the doors had no seals on the bottoms so there was a huge gap that the larger bugs and lizards were entering through. We went on to stay in a tent in the forest of Monteverde after we left La Fortuna and we did not even have the amount of critters enter our tent out in the forest as we did our room at Paradise Hot Springs. I would have rated this resort so much higher but this night time experience in our room was simply unacceptable and the staff just discounted our concerns completely. And no we did not have any food in our room!

Amazing stay at the hot spring, property is kept in great condition with welcoming and kind workers. I would recommend this hot spring to anyone who wants a relaxing stay and close distance to La Fortuna town. The hot springs are kept very clean and you have a beautiful view of the volcano.

Is a beautiful hotel the staff is really amiable and professionalThe food needs a lot of improvement, not the buffet the other restaurant that is à la carte , the fish that they gave us we couldn’t eat it. It was like old uncooked something was wrong with it.

Was very convenient to visit the city center. Gorgeous property with an incredible view. Would recommend.

Great place for a splurge! 9 amazing hot spring pools all different temperatures. Close to Fortuna and its wildlife attractions.
