Great stay at this lovely hotel. As a vegetarian, the breakfast was a bit weak and the TV in my room was impossible to turn on, but otherwise a great stay.

It is a charming seaside. Stunning view of the sea. The sounds of waves put you to sleep. The beach is right outside.
You can walk to The Infinite Bridge, Marselisborg Deer Park and Marselisborg Castle.
Bus ride to city Aarhus takes only 10 min.
Staff are friendly, helpful and professional.
Specious room, comfortable beds, balcony with a sea view.
Pool, sauna, steam and gym are available.
The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choices and served with fresh bread.
There is coffee machine available all day long (coffee, hot chocolate and teas) as complimentary.
It was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
I would definitely stay here again.

I loved the proximity to the ocean and surrounding beauty spots. It was outside of the main city centre which meant it was peaceful and quiet, whilst the city was quick and easy to get to. We loved the indoor swimming pool and the buffet breakfast was very extensive. The furnishings were a little worn but the hotel itself was nice and clean.

No kettle in room or tea/coffee making facilities. Small facility for making your own in the reception. Ate at the restaurant once and regretted it. Portions small , limited menu and had to wait an age to be served. Very poor service. Everything else about the hotel was good though.

Lovely hotel, super-friendly staff, very clean, and extra compliments to the kitchen - super breakfast and the dinner was exquisite 👌
The hotel is near the Marselisborg Forests in one direction, and 30mins walk into Aarhus centre in the other direction - plus the beach and sea is right in front of you - a perfect location if you love walking and want to get a good rest by the sea in the evening, hearing the waves crashing all night. Bliss!
I would book again - the sea view rooms are wonderful.

Always my top choice in Aarhus - been coming here for over 15 years and I think all the rooms have now been refurbished. There are other improvements underway and a new chef I believe who was very helpful during this visit with my dental problem! Shame that they have introduced parking fees from a 3rd party - that's my only negative. All staff are always so helpful and cannot do enough for you. Just be aware that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday and can get full if there are large events happening. Was lucky enough to see porpoise in the bay outside the hotel again this visit and always enjoy walks along the beach and the forest.

Not a 4 star experience. I can't exactly put my finger on it. The reception was welcoming, nice view of the sea, pool, fitness and exceptionalbeds. But small things weren't good enough: a piece of wood stucking out beside the aged buttons by the bed, worn frame on the bathroom mirror and old water chalk residue in the corners of the bathroom. The breakfast was also underwhelming.

Rooms are spacious and well equipped, however walls seem to had a better days as there was a layer of dust on the whole wall by the bed. Outdoor furniture was very dirty from birds fallings. Wooden floor deserves some deeper attention as it was very scratched up. Bathroom was relatively clean but there was a hole in the shower separator which led to a flood in the bathroom so we had to use extra towel to dry it.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Receptionists always available at the reception so slew had everything resolved in a seconds.Swimming pool area and gym was clean and well stocked.
Food was great and plenty of choices.
I would come back for the see view that was absolutely stunning. Price wise it was a bit overpriced as I didn’t find enough points to give 4 stars.

This is certainly somewhere to stay at for the views! The rooms on the higher levels are spacious and provide gorgeous views of the sea. If you stay here, I’d plan on having a lot of activities planned as the hotel itself needs some work. The rooms are pretty bare-bones and the toiletry supply is quite low. Great breakfast and would recommend staying here in the summer.
