The breakfast was amazing with many selections! All staff were friendly and the room was very pleasant. We had a scheduled train trip so the hotel was very conveniently located.

I had been excited about the hotel based on the reviews. However, I found it relatively run down and shabby. The carpet was threadbare in spots and my AC didn't work all that well. The thin mattress barely covered the box spring to the edges. The grout in the shower was dark, but there were parts where it was clearly mildew and not just black grout. Inexplicably, there was a dumbbell set bolted to the wall in my room. The rack had a very sharp edge that I hit my head on and got a welt that is still healing. (That isn't the hotel's fault, but it did seem like an odd addition to my room.) The elevator was strange, it was impossible to know if we had pushed the right button to call it from floor to floor. One day I gave up waiting and decided just to climb the stairs to the sixth floor where my room was, just to realize that the stairs ended at the fifth floor and I had to call the elevator anyway. That said, the positives were that the breakfast was good with lots of options, the staff was friendly, and they seemed to be doing their best to lean into the old, dark wood vibe they had going on. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't stay there again. I'd choose something more modern.

This hotel was very comfortable with helpful staff. The best aspect is the location, directly across from the train station, metro and Tivoli Gardens. There was a good selection at breakfast though staff could have been a bit more on the ball with clearing tables and refilling. The cocktails in the libarary bar were great although very expensive so a one off treat! The onlu downside was that you couldn't get into the bar at the weekend without queueing as it is a popular jazz venue. Overall this hotel is a good option for a city break in Copenhagen.

Absolutely beautiful hotel across the street from Tivoli Garden s and the train station. The Plaza is a very old and stunning hotel. Our room was on the front of the hotel, but was quiet for sleeping. The air conditioning kept us cool on a summer evening. The staff was lovely, the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Copenhagen.

Terrific location !

A beautiful hotel in a central location. The train station was close by, so easy to get to the airport. The woman at front desk was very helpful.

Breakfast was fab. Huge choice. Orange juice tasted like real orange juice! Loved the style and colour of the old fashioned interior. Bar was stunning

Had paid for upgraded room which was a waste of time because the room definitely wasn't an upgrade. Small, poorly maintained. The safe was damaged, The furniture chipped, but most importantly the latch on the outside door to the balcony (which was joined to next door room) didnt even hold the door closed, never mind that it couldn't be locked. Had to fasten a strap to a table to hold it closed in a thunder storm.

The hotel is elegant and clean. We asked to change rooms as our first room was noisy and the WiFi poor. The staff, Clara in particular, were incredibly helpful. Our second room was clean, more spacious and quiet! It made all the difference. Our location was the best! It was easy to access all of Copenhagen from here! I would definitely return!

We arrived very late and were greeted by the nicest man. He made sure we had cold water, helped us into and explained the elevator, and then the room was just as inviting. Spacious for three, and the two balconies overlooking Tivoli made the whole stay in Copenhagen absolutely magical. The bathroom was so clean with sustainable dental, shave, and other self care kits which we appreciated so much, as we were at the end of our trip. The breakfast was very good, with options for everyone, though when we left our table to refill coffee, they had cleared our table and took my phone at the front desk. They are quick to turn the tables, to accommodate the rotating groups of guests on their way for the day, so make sure at least one person stays at yours! Highly recommend.

We have stayed here a few times now. First time in a slightly dated room, but this time so much better. Very clean, modern. The food was amazing as always. Love the character of this ‘old’ hotel. It’s central and just always suits our needs. A visit to the library bar is just the cherry on the icing! Sthe staff is always helpful and friendly. Great hotel, fabulous location some renovation being carried out but closed off from the rest of hotel and not noticable when inside. Staff very helpful, breakfast is good.

Very convenient ( across the street from CPH central station), spacious clean room ( small table / sitting area), excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Would have enjoyed a ‘ mini fridge’ for cold water as it was summer
