This property is rather bland...needs art in the hallways. Needs a luggage rack in room The bathroom had no space for toiletries. The happy hour bar was not staffed. Ring a bell and wait forever. Breakfast was decent. Hotel was generally clean but appeared tired without art on the walls. Elevator was rickety For the price, I would not stay there again.

This hotel is a few minutes walk from Marstal, in a very quiet surrounding. It does not offer the genuine experience of in-town hotels in historical buildings, but it is a very decent modern hotel with very functional rooms and bathrooms, good insulation and an ample dining room and bar. It caters to tour busses but we were welcome using a few rooms to host our wedding party. Very friendly staff all around. The barman was very kind to cool for us 2 bottles of Champagne we had brought along and serve them in ice buckets with glasses at no charge. In a country known for expensive alcohol we ran up a 2-hour tab at the bar for other drinks for a party of 7 that was only $100. The breakfast buffet included in the price was plentiful and of good quality. We did not use the restaurant for other meals. As is often the case in Denmark, the reception and bar are shuttered 9 pm to 7 am. Only minor gripe was the checkout time of 10 am, a bit tight.

It is a beautiful Island Æro but very limited with hotel choices. Æro hotel is situated in a tranquil place and near the ocean front. It is clean, Staff were friendly and helpful, but the room is very basic and lacks aminities, there was no hair dryer in the room. One can also hears the activities outside the door as it was not so good isolated the walls. But for a few days stay, it was okey enough.

Virkelig skuffende. Da vi kommer trætte retur til hotellet efter en lang dag på farten og trænger til at sove/slappe af, viser det sig at der er levende musik i restauranten og mange gæster der hygger sig - problemet er at vores værelse havde vindue ud til gårdhaven hvor der opholdt sig mange af gæsterne pga godt vejr og at døre og vinduer var åbne, så musikken også kunne høres.
På et hotel kun for voksne, føltes det som at have fået soveværelse lige midt i en ungdomsfest, med høj musik, snak og skramlen med stole til kl. 01.15.
Ingen havde gjort os opmærksom på dette - hverken ved tjek-in eller med et opslag på hotellet. Receptionen havde lukket allerede kl. 18.00 og personalet i baren kunne ikke gøre noget.
Da vi henvendte os i receptionen næste dag efter en nat med sparsom nattesøvn, blev vi blot mødt med et “henvend dig til hotels.com som du har bestilt værelset igennem, havde du booket via hotellets hjemmeside, ville du ha’ vidst at det var en weekend med mulighed for weekendophold og dermed larm” (hvilket i øvrigt ikke er sandt). Virkelig dårlig service.
Endvidere lugtede der af kloak på badeværelset og der manglede en pære i lampen. Brødet til morgenmaden var kedeligt.
