I enjoyed my vacation time at the Hilton in Luxor. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sunset view every evening was spectacular. The spa area was so relaxing. I would definitely return to this Hilton for vacation again.

My daughter and I had four nights stay in Hilton resort few days ago. It made our Egypt trip more relaxing & pleasant. We dipped in the pool everyday after our difficult & hot day tour. The restaurants are awesome, especially Olive on the pool side and it is open air, face River Nile was so romantic at night. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. We had a Feluca ride, the boats just docked on the river bank. Price was reasonable. The hotel organized the transportation taxi for guests to go anywhere. And the driver needed to show ID to the gate security when they enter. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel for anyone wants to visit Luxor. Thank you Hilton Resort, we had a wonderful time.

Dining room staff were hit and miss; sometimes attended to us well and sometimes ignored us. Very little smiling. Same for the pool staff, had to wait an hour for towels after repeated requests for towels. Food was okay and some staff were good, but very different than what we are used to. Hopefully they do better in the future.

Beautiful spot by the Nile River. Walking distance to Karnak Temple. We absolutely loved the location and service at the hotel. Buffet breakfast and dinner was also a big plus. Loved it ! If we are back, we will definitively stay there again.

Great views being on the nile, but nice and quiet

I specifically booked a room with a king size bed, got there and they didn’t have one. They were able to convert two singles for me but it seemed an odd thing to have to ask for. The room was decoratively in a rather average state, seem to have a few lumps and bumps missing and rather dated I normally enjoy a Hilton breakfast much more than this one The swimming pools looked great, but needed to be heated more. Asked member of staff if there were any toilet facilities near the pools and was told “I don’t know.” I asked the staff if there were any grocery shops nearby and they pointed me towards the small dusty trinket shops in the hotel rather than the groceries shops at the end of the entrance to the hotel which I would’ve much rather been directed towards The meal on New Year’s Eve was welcomed, but rather chaotic and multiple members of staff didn’t seem to know what was going on or when All in all the Hilton was a welcome respite from the rest of Egypt which is rather more challenging, but could do with some improvements at the same time

this is a wonderful Hilton property with beautiful views of the Nile. Restaurants, Bars and service are 5 stars! Breakfast buffet is superb and staff is friendly and attentive. The GM , Florian G. is a very knowledgeable person who knows how to manage his team members. They will give you a warm Egyptian welcome!

Great place to stay

Building a bit outdated and not to par with other Hilton branded hotels

Only place to stay in Luxor ( the Sofitel was worse ) great location. Not clean. Lovely staff. Very tired hotel.

One if the best hotel in Egypt with great Nile view, excellent service and very welcoming staff.

Very nicely situated right on Nile river with very nice pools and open spaced restaurants on edge of the river. The neighborhood is probably not the best, but does not matter since Hilton’s very nice property is isolated from the surroundings.

The hotel is incredible. The location was fabulous. The service was exceptional.

The hotel’s driver, from the airport, talked non stop about hiring him and offering tours. He made a detour & took the long route as a “preview” of the said tours. We empathically told him NO and that we DID NOT WANT ANY. We had been traveling in different countries for over a month and our flight/luggages was also delayed so we were EXHAUSTED and we just want to get to the hotel and relax. However, he persisted. It was such an UNWELCOME gesture. Around 2-3 am, the hotels air vents emits a FOUL cigarette smell. The rooms are small and the carpets are worn and quite outdated. You could also hear every time a door opens and closes. Some staff need to learn serving etiquette. DO NOT REACH between guests while we were having a conversation to clear the table. RUDE! Why rush when there were hardly any guests? At that time, there were 4 guest sitting and eating in that restaurant- it was quiet as can be. PROS: Great view of the NILE RIVER Sumptuous breakfast spread Wonderful room attendants & cleaners AC cool * For your airport/pickup and drops off and also TOURS book NASCO TOURS located at the outdoor thru the lobby area. Try the Felucca Sailing too.
