Olivia Hotel

After a long bus ride, we were welcomed with smiles, an early check-in, and breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed — truly kind and thoughtful service and quick response.. thank you Dunia :)

My stay at Olivia Hotel was so great! It’s very clean and quiet. The staff are attentive and friendly. Dunya abs Fatima took great care of me every morning. I will note, just to manage expectations, that I reserved their most basic room and it was quite compact. If you’re coming from the U.S. the size might surprise you. But really was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the fridge was stocked with beverages that cost less than at the market, and the breakfast every morning was so so tasty. A fried egg, Egyptian pita with fig jam on the side, a couple kinds of cheese, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, yogurt, coffee or tea. All of it every morning! Fatima also does a laundry service that is very affordable. It was less than $4 for a load (the charge is per item). It’s also important to note that if you’re used to US or tourist area hotels, this one may be hard to locate at first. It’s in a large building with businesses and (I think) residences. To get into the building you go through a hallway from the street. It’s lined with businesses with very friendly people. Then you take the elevator to Floor 2. On Floor 2 you’ll see the sign for the hotel. But you can stop anyone and ask for directions if you need to. Overall, I am so happy with my stay and will be at Olivia Hotel any time I’m in Cairo in the future!

Clean and comfortable. Donia is cute and kind. When I could't find the entrance, she found me and came down to get me. I really appreciate that.
