Room was huge, clean and modern. Very central hotel for downtown Bath right next to the Abbey and Roman Baths and main shopping/dining area.

Fantastic stay in lovely location easily walkable about a bath centre and all the little shops and cafes. The Abbey is just round the corner too. Super friendly staff and very accommodating. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Perfect location for exploring Bath, nice rooms, good facilities and a great breakfast.
Mid-week, off-season pricing also made it decent value.
The only downside was with a front-facing room, revelry outside in the early hours disturbed our sleep.

The first room assigned did not have air conditioning the second room was in the basement next to a high school prom that kept my son and I up until 1 am. My parents room had twin sheets on a king bed so they could not get a good nights sleep missing remote and very loud with people parting all night long. Parking does not exist Southgate car park is much further away than advertised traffic around the hotel is terrible. Hotel was pricier definitely not worth the money the location when there was great however

Paid for room with Air conditioner did not work they sent people up to reset Never worked gave us fans did not help so hot we could not sleep.Front desk kept telling us they would adjust bill never did when we were there. I have called to talk with manager 5 times no one ever gets back to me Bathroom shower floor dirty Very aggravated paid for AC none

For the exorbitant price I expected much better. It is important to know this is an historic property with multiple buildings and you may have to walk outdoors in weather to get to your building/to the main dining etc. Also with old buildings come musty smells. Our room absolutely reeked of mildew and even the linens felt damp. It was in a basement with very little natural light. When I complained of the intense mildew smell I was offered a smaller room/smaller bed/cheaper rate, but that’s not why we booked this hotel. No discount was offered for the inconvenience and irritation of the odor. The room was comfy and generally clean overall. Strange art was of all women whose faces had been scratched out or covered in paint. Odd vibes. The breakfast was only mid-level. Frozen fruit defrosted, tesco-like bread and pastries. Just very basic for £24 and I’ve had better at small hotels. Not at all what I expected at Marriott Bonvoy. I don’t think I would stay here again. Not for the price and average service. Though it is very well located.

The hotel's room wasn't worsed the money what we are paying. The towels were rather gray than white.The window in the bathroom was dirty and sink was leaking.In my opinion the price for the room is too high.

Lovely staff except breakfast waiter who didn’t really listen resulting in not getting what I asked for.
Comfy bed and quiet, dark room.
Few hairs in the bath, yuk!!
Nowhere to put toiletry bags in bathroom.
No shower hose so impossible to rinse the bath (poor room attendants!) or wash hair.

Very conveniently located. Easily within walking distance to Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge and Weir, the Royal Crescent and the Circus. The breakfast was also very good. Check in was easy and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was very small with no working windows. So you couldn’t open the windows for fresh air even a little bit. The room had a steep stairs with no lift, we were warn by reception about it but it’s really steep!
The room was clean with nice bathroom but felt very small with low ceiling.

We visited Bath as a last minute decision and chose the Abbey Hotel. It was in a perfect location and the hotel changed our room as they said the one we had booked was normally only suitable for single travellers.
