Lovely rooms, nice and warm with all the essentials. Car ev chargers on site. Not fast charge but as staying overnight not an issue. Food was scrumptious. Steak and ale pie was stuffed with meat, plenty of mash and gravy. Chicken burger was mouth wateringly delicious. Good selection at breakfast but I stuck with toast and marmalade. Overall a very pleasant stay and great for the park and ride into town or the racecourse.

Excellent good-sized room, spotlessly clean too. The Charlcombe Inn is right next to Bath racecourse and would be a great base for visiting Bath. Quality breakfast was incuded in the price and a shout out to the staff in the Inn as they couldn't have been more helpful.

Great little country pub . Home made steak and ale pie to die for. Friendly staff and good ales. Coming back with Mrs next time.

A few things went wrong. A HOO ha getting the heating fired up, then a VERY limited menu at dinner. That’s fine if it’s all top notch and exiting but it’s burger, pie or fish and chips (not proper chips jist reformed potato freezer stuff). I had the pie which arrived over cooked - pastry was impregnable! I pointed this out but there was no offer of it being replaced. Earlier there was a ‘the pies on/off debate, the significance of which emerged when I spent the rest of the night with food poisoning.
Good: friendly staff and a great range of beer but I’m not likely to head back soon.

Room was nice, convenient location, staff were friendly. Room had open bottles of water which had sips taken out of and cut toenails on the bedside table which I noticed before I got into bed which I can only imagine were from the person before.

A very cute inn with a cozy restaurant. The food was wonderful. We especially loved the chips! The room is comfy.
The bus station to Bath is very close by. 2 minutes by car and buses run every 15 minutes.

Our stay here was beyond our expectations. Entering the bar to book in the staff were extremely welcoming. Our room was exquisite, bed extremely comfortable the shower was fantastic. Room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent we chose a different breakfast every day. We had our evening meals also food was delicious. Our dog loved the walks . Shopping in Bath we used the park and ride just up the road. This was free as we had bus passes. We will probably return for the Xmas markets.
Will definitely return next year in the summer . Thanks to all the staff who made our stay extra special .
