A lovely apartment in a prime location for the city centre. I had a comfortable stay and the property itself is generally clean. It felt very homely. The Christmas tree was a nice touch. Mainly a very positive stay but the actual duvet and mattress protector are quite stained and I think these should be replaced. Apart from that I would have scored excellent throughout.

Amazing! The apartment was fabulous and so comfortable - location, facilities etc! Couldn’t work the oven and the manual was missing but someone tried to help but I just didn’t have a clue how to get it to work! Wasn’t a big issue and I am sure someone would have come if needed! Will be back!

I had trouble fining first day, but later it was alright. good condition property, decent space.

The cleaners didnt turn up to clean the apartment from the previous occupants until 15.20pm, we were supposed to be able to check in at 15.00pm. It took the lady 15 mins, it wasn't to a standard i would expect. The cutlery was filthy and the plates etc were full of dust. They need to consider changing the company that does their cleanng. The location was good though.

Good sized apartment in a good location close to Shambles and the Walls. Close to a supermarket and parking areas. Good communication to check in

Pros: The location was great. Walking distance to many attractions. Cons: It took over an hour for us to diagnose why the internet did not work. Had to go back and forth on email for their customer service to help. My husband and I ended up having to move a sofa to get behind and turn on the modem.??? The company who manages the apartment must be cutting costs because we froze. We could not adjust the thermostat and my husband and I wore socks to bed and I wore my parka to get to sleep ??? There were NO extra blankets. The best part was we ran out of hot water after the first night. After contacting customer service to find out why, we were told the hot water tanks are small and we have probably used our hot water up. We could not take showers the second day and I had to boil water in the kettle to poor into the TINY bathroom sink to wash my face. Thank goodness we only stayed 2 nights. These issues were not just our apartment as I conversed with another woman who had the same issues in her unit. There were other problems but needless to say I would NOT recommend staying there!

Great location ideal for a short stay in York

The room was smaller than it appears in the photo. Everything in the room is cheap. The room has a pervading smell that I couldn’t get used to - smoke/cheap cleaning products? The bed was a small double that was very uncomfortable and seemed to be a put you up. I could feel the large buttons on the mattress on my back, the mattress too soft and you rolled into the middle, the pillows were hard to put up to sit back on as there was large gap at the beck of the bed and you slept next to the cooker. The extremely noisy geese and people walking on the outside walkway prevented me from sleeping. The bathroom was very small. The sofa was uncomfortable and cheap. There was no long mirror and no close up mirror. The bathroom mirror was recessed quite far and hard to see into. Only one hand towel wasn’t enough. The tiles were very slippy especially when wet after returning from rain showers. The directions were not clear. The safe too high for me to see into. No mention on the site that you have to pay £40 for two days for the car park. I wouldn’t want to walk on my own into Fossegate through small alleyways, over low chained rails. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.

Had a fantastic experience staying in Yorkie Suites. Poroperty was exceptionally clean and had everthing required for a short stay. Apartments are within easy walking distance to the town centre, approximately 5 minute walk. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for nice accommodation close to all amenities.

We went to York by train for a long weekend. The apartment is located in a quieter part of York but at the most a 10 minute walk from all the attractions. The apartment was very comfortable and clean and had all the facilities we needed. Highly recommended.

The bottle of champagne was a nice touch and the information and pictures of where the apartments were located made it so easy to find also the pictures of how to get in really helped us for a smooth check in and check out

Great for 2 day trip to York. Parking available so were able to leave car safely for whole duration. 10 minutes walk to Shambles and all attractions easily reached.

Really lovely place to stay very central to all of York. Daisy helped us a great deal telling us about up coming bars and restaurants in Fossgate. The suite was just perfect for out needs. Will definitely like to stay here again.
