Lovely room. Daughter slept well on the sofa bed. I slept like a log in main bed. Aircon. Nice and clean. Great bathroom, and staff very friendly and helpful. Bus stop opposite into town. Cheap Uber to the Amex Stadium. All in all a great stay.

This is a little gem of a find the sfatt were lovely and very helpful.the room we had was at the front with beautiful views of the sea .we ate in the restaurant and would recommend the food breakfast was cooked to order andovely can not fault the stay we had thankyou to the tesm

The staff were exceptionally polite, helpful and efficient. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The parking was on site and readily available. The evening meal was first class and the breakfast was well presented and fresh (my only complaint here would be the average sausage - which is what I am always disappointed with)
My only complaint, which could be easily fixed was the very noisy door on the corridor leading to the guest rooms; we could hear it slamming shut throughout the night, and in the early morning as people were arriving and leaving. Please soften the closing device and you would have a perfect hotel.
But to summarise a clean, well appointed hotel with great staff and a commendable kitchen

Great location - nice walks across the Downs and 2 different buses stop outside the hotel that take you to the sea front and city centre within 20-25 minutes.
The room was immaculately clean. The family room was really spacious.
Breakfast was good - enough choice and good service.

I feel the hotel should make mention of the fact that all their rooms are accessed via a pretty steep flight of stairs which presents a challenge to anyone with walking difficulties.
Had we known in advance then we would not of booked.
If you do book, make sure you book the much larger front-facing rooms. At the rear the rooms are much smaller.
On a positive note, the staff are very helpful and the food is plentiful.

Shame no housekeeping, especially in that heat and bins were full.
Music from downstairs was a put off ... We expected it in the evenings (the rooms are above a pub) but not so early in the morning (it was on for breakfast so an early alarm call).

What a lovely place to stay! Located in a lovely area with views of the sea this place is great to stay for a little weekend in Brighton. Check in was really easy and the room was perfect! Breakfast included was a huge bonus. Staff are really helpful and friendly especially the young lady on reception, Can't remember her name but she was a star a real highlight to the place. Will definitely be staying here again!
