Nice comfortable stay, friendly staff and we enjoyed the pool and the food and it was really close to town with great views of the city

Hotel on its own was fine , I was coming back into the hotel with a friend and my partner my friend had phoned a taxi as she was staying at another hotel but the concierge at the main entrance with a clipboard refused my friend entry to wait inside the hotel for her taxi disturbingly it was around midnight and my friend was a young lady despite this she was refused entry by this what I can only call a Jobsworth with no concern for a young woman's safety alone in a city she was visiting for the weekend..shame on this person and if he has a daughter who is visiting a city she is not familiar with i hope she is never put in this position considering the amount of attacks taking place on young women these days in the United Kingdom.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location. Check in was easy, the room was really clean and the parking was very convenient and easy to access.

Good hotel. Parking was good, secure and reasonable price for 24 hours. Nice breakfast. Easy stop over for travel.

This was a very short stay for a family funeral. We turned up early to change and leave our bags at the hotel. The reception checked and said we could go to a room that was already prepared. Fantastic service as meant a quick shower as well before heading out. Great view of the bridges and a nice bar to have a drink at the end of the day

Parking was easy and is based underneath the hotel and has EV chargers including a BP pulse charger. The rooms were of a good standard with plenty of space although the shower had somewhat “rubic cube’ qualities but once on had a good water pressure. Great views from the bar area based on the ground floor. I was surprised that that there was no roof top / upper floor cocktail bar to make the most of the iconic views across the city and the river - a missed opportunity. The buffet breakfast was good value and constantly topped up - served until 11am - check out at 12. The location is really convenient and is only a 10min stroll to the quayside bars and restaurants. Will definitely return.

Room was clean. Parking very convenient. Ideally placed for Gateshead Glasshouse (the Sage) and to walk into Newcastle City centre. Didn't have breakfast there.

Overall a wonderful stay. The hotel is really clean and well appointed, with some amazing views if you're on the river side of the building. It's ideally located for a short walk into Newcastle, close to the train station and metro too so easy to get to all sorts of places locally. We found the restaurant a little bit overpriced for the quality of the food. For example, the cheese board was £14.50 but it contained far too much, with a huge bunch of grapes and large portions of three different cheeses. I'd rather have paid less for less as it was just far too big a portion. The spa facilities are lovely, but the hot tub is tiny and only really fits 2 so you did have to time your visits to less busy times.

Rooms were tired, reflected in the price I suppose but
