Holiday Inn Express EAST MIDLANDS AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

As a mature adult it was an easy accessible hotel for an early airport flight. The added bonus was the early availability of breakfast. I didn't have a car but the bus stopped outside. I would use the hotel again should I get an early morning flight. All the staff I met were very helpful.

This was a quick overnight before leaving from East Midlands early the next morning. The receptionist was very helpful and the VERY early morning breakfast was most welcome. Two things: the hard floors (not the carpets) had been cleaned with something sticky which made walking on them squeaky and unpleasant; secondly, although clean, the room smelt as if it needed a good clean.

Great stay. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant and bar area. Room good and clean. Very convenient for Donington Park for BTCC.

Standard chaon but very clean, comfy bed, decent breakfast and cheaper than anyone else.

Checked in to be told about a fee for parking, if you have psid to stay at the hotel why do you have to pay extra to park? Very poor. Room seemed ok but in tjis modern age why are you still using standard double beds? A very bad nights sleep was had, you should have King size or at least two standard singles pushed together. The duvet didnt really fit the bed once x2 adults are in the bed, poor. The breakfast is mediocre due to the fact that it's self service with food on the hot plate for quite a while.

The hotel was great, the bar was good, but the food was probably the worst I have ever had. Very expensive but very poor.

We had a great stay here. Staff were really friendly and helpful upon arrival. Our room was spacious & clean. We had breakfast with our stay and there was a good selection available on the buffet.

Stay was alright, as expected, marred by my wife leaving a ring in the room and when I rang within 30 minutes of check out, even when they sent someone to look, they could mot find it, suspect it was n the pocket of the checker.

Standard, souless hotel in a convenient location with minimal customer service

Our stay was okay, the room was very cold and took a while to heat up and as we arrived late we would have appreciated an ambient temperature. We were in room 222 and there were blood stains beneath the shower on the floor? The breakfast was good. The leather seats in the lounge have seen better days there was a chuck of leather and foam stuffing out of one if them. The staff seemed nice.

From the moment we checked in the gent serving was brilliant. Polite and very clued up, Was a refreshing thing to see. Stay was fine, comfy room, that was clean. Evening meal was lovely & well priced. Breakfast was also good value.

Everyone was keen to make sure I was ok - very friendly & most helpful. They all worked really hard. I was very impressed.

All staff very attentive and helpfull. Bus every 10 mins staight out the front door to the airport £1.50 each. £55.00 for night including breakfast next morning all wating for you. If your flying early morming this is the place to stay the night before. Thank you.

Nice comfortable room, great breakfast, amazing value. Only negative was was parking, which was not free
