Holiday Inn LEEDS - BRIGHOUSE, an IHG Hotel

Very nice modern hotel. Comfortable bedroom, great facilities (swimming pool & Gym) Good breakfast with plenty of varieties.

A definite need to come back here again 🎈

As always the room, breakfast and staff were great. Unfortunately the pool was closed, the main reason we choose the hotel. It would have been nice to know before arrival which I think is reasonable as this would entail an email. We pay a premium to stay with this brand of hotel so expect a little more from them.

Booked last-minute and what a pleasant surprise! Room was spacious and comfy with a great view. Warm and friendly greeting from all the staff. Clean gym and pool area...what more do you want for a family treat after camping?!

Had to pay again at reception as card had been declined. My bank statement shows payment £75.01 taken out 21/02/25 by Expedia HOTELCOM72 CD 6889, would like a refund otherwise would have given top marks to all.

This hotel was lovely to stay in, the food was nice the rooms were clean and staff were lovely, it’s a shame the swimming pools wasn’t open but other then that was a nice stay.

I stayed for one night as I was attending a family function nearby. I like Holiday Inn properties. Consistently clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast. This Hotel was even better than some in the group. I will stay here again.

Decent, but gym tiny

This is an average hotel but in a great location for work as close to where I needed to be. Service at bar was below average as young barmaid would rather chat to other members of staff than serve me.

Lovely hotel. Brilliant staff. Lovely breakfast. Swimming pool was a real bonus. Would definitely go again

Dogs barking in room next door waking me up. When I spoke with reception their response was: "well this is a dog friendly hotel", suggesting that I should keep up with it? Found that a bit strange. Other then that, hotel clean and convenient.

Only downside was not enough blue badge parking points

I'm a bit torn with this because I paid twice as much as I usually do for hotel when visiting up North as on this particular occasion I wanted to use a pool/spa area to relax. We arrived at 2:10pm to find the room wasn't ready (stated 2pm check in) and wasn't ready until 2:45pm. Gym was alright, lacking a few key bits IMO but it's a hotel gym so can't grumble. Pool, hot tub etc were all great. The room itself the shower screen was knackered to put it best, leaking water and needed seals replacing. Lastly there's a massive pot hole at the entrance/exit which if you didn't pay attention to avoid it could have caused some damage. Overall though it was good just hard to justify the price given the above vs a hotel half the price even if it lacked a pool/gym.

Extremely soft mattresses and very limited evening meal with tiny pudding didn't take away from an excellent breakfast and absolute bargain price for a family. We would definitely stay here again and even plan our journey to stop here if we were going somewhere else early the next day which we were (Yorkshire wildlife park). Would go out for dinner though.

Location was perfect, really nice hotel, staff were lovely, only complaint was there were no mini fridges in the rooms. No where to keep drinks cold!
