Milton House Studio Apartment Suites

Spacious and comfortable suite in a beautiful house in a fairytale village in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. What’s not to love? Hostess, Jo, is delightful and the pub next door is great.

Staff went the extra mile to accomodate our unorthodox arrival time. Room was small (we had been well warned!) but had everything we needed. Fresh milk provided with morning coffee - a really nice toich!

Jo very nice lady, Room and private bathroom good. Everything you wanted was there + continental breakfast in room. Free wfi, hot hot water. Good bed.

Made very welcome. Very good communication and updates from the owner Jo. Everywhere very clean and comfortable.

Friendly and lovely place. Our room was small but it had everything we needed. Jo kindly left us croissants and yogurts for the morning and was very flexible with check-in. Askrigg is a beautiful village. It’s certainly worth a visit if you are a fan of James Harriott!

We enjoyed a wonderful short stay at Milton House. Communication by the owner Jo was excellent throughout - from the initial booking to departure. The location is wonderful - within a lovely small village with spectacular scenery, friendly people, and several choices of eateries The accommodation itself is maintained immaculately. The owners obviously takes a great deal of pride in their home, and in providing a wonderful experience to those why stay there. Standards of cleanliness are exceptional, and the studio provided everything we needed for our stay. The owners went above and beyond in providing a welcome package that we appreciated very much after a long journey Thank you for allowing us the experience of staying on your beautiful home

Accommodation was spotless and Jo the host had thought of everything. So lovely to have the independence of a mini-apartment rather than just a room. Parking was easy and the village and area are stunning. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely stay with great room and excellent facitities. Room comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast hamper great and plenty of food for two days. Would recommend Ate at Kings Arms which was very good.

The apartment is compact so the bed was small compared to our own, so sleep was affected, We were in the area to attend a funeral a good sleep would have been welcome.

Comfortable, peaceful stay. Loved the fact we had a little kitchen and welcome pack was fab. Pubs restaurants in the village so easy access. Welcoming hosts.

Excellent 3 days away everything you need and milton house was excellent home from home definitely be returning.

Really enjoyed our short stay. The studio room we were in was excellent, modern, clean and comfortable. We had a breakfast box on arrival, which was great. We decided to have the additional cooked breakfast, which was really tasty and a great way to start the day. We’d stay here again.

Studio room was ideal, kichen very well equipped. Comfortable bed & sofa. Very spacious and very well thought out rooms. Breakfast box was great. Grat location for walking on the Yorkshire Dales and three pubs within a few stepx away. All with a good selection of food and drinks.

The room was excellent, very well equipped and clean. The kitchenette was an added bonus and enabled us to prepare our own food. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable and we also had a settee and a big tv. Our host Jo was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay here if we visit the dales again.
