The Priory Inn

Fantastic service and facilities. Would have stayed longer if rooms were available. Can't say enough about the great staff.

My wife and I spent a night at the Priory on the back of a visit to Highgrove ( 10 minutes away). We are very happy with our choice. Staff excellent, great location for mooching round town ( plus eating and drinking if not at hotel). Thanks to all

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Quick check in by the manager who explained all we needed to know about our stay. Lovely clean room, comfy bed .Great breakfast. I would give this hotel a 4 * rating and would definitely recommend it.

Hotel easily found, free parking, free WiFi (which actually worked). Reception could not have been more helpful. Our suitcases were carried to our rooms. The choice of food on offer was good, waiting staff were courteous and helpful and service was good. We had intended to have a meal in Tetbury but in fact had our meals at the Priory Inn. I would say that the en-suite bathrooms are probably due a refresh. On the plus side, there were fans in the bedrooms and chilled fresh water available from a cabinet in the reception area. Overall a superb place to stay for anyone visiting Highgrove.

Helpful friendly staff

Stayed for two nights to attend a wedding nearby. It was a lovely place, amazing service and excellent breakfasts. Would definitely return and would recommend.

I really liked the body wash and shampoo products. I would like to buy some of it.

Meet and greet on arrival was first class by Natalie and she always used our first names when our paths crossed. Food served in the restaurant was excellent and there was some very nice and unusual choices, it was not all just pub grub. Breakfast was hearty and many combinations to suit. Rooms were spacious , would have liked either drawer space or shelves in wardrobe for folded clothes. Rooms serviced daily if required, we would also have been happy with an option to just refesh tea/coffee biscuits etc. Parking on site was plentiful. Good location, 5 min walk into centre of Tetbury. Lovely sun terrace with seating out front.

The hotel was ideal for our needs with a very comfortable room and friendly service.

Late night entry by card key made local wedding arrangements easy. Friendly and efficient staff made for a fuss free stay. Breakfast options good.

Enjoyed our stay at The Priory Inn. Really well located in the town, really friendly staff, great breakfast and comfortable, well furnished room. The only let down for us was the condition of the bathroom. There was mould on the grouting and ceiling and the tiles had been painted over in random places like it had been done to hide the mould. All that being said, we would choose to stay here again as the positives outweighed the negatives.

Lovely pub / hotel ideally located in Tetbury , cosy friendly restaurant

After searching for a reasonable rate to explore the Cotswolds we found The Priory. Good location to explore to south Cotswolds, excellent greeting, Very friendly and attentive staff, clean room comfy bed, bathroom was small but big enough, dinner was excellent the food was freshly cooked and well presented, staff very thoughtful and attentive, breakfast was cooked to order and superb, highly recommend a stay here. If you are looking for a quieter room ask for room 10!

We were a group of 9 friends staying in Tetbury to visit the Christmas lights at Westonbirt Arboretum. The hotel was excellent and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The food was good and the rooms clean and comfortable. Could not fault it.

Absolutely beautiful place, rusticly modern with everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay..easily could have stayed for a week! The owner and staff were so welcoming and felt like we had personal service..ALL the staff were exceptional including the young servers in the restaurant who were outstanding. Definitely staying again and highly recommend!

Very good location on the edge of Tetbury will parking great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant and very good food would recommend this hotel if wanted to stay in the Tetbury area

This is a great example of a country style inn. It's warm and very inviting. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. There is no lift (elevator) so that may pose a problem for some people. The rooms are old but well maintained and very comfortable. There is a nice on-site bar and restaurant with a huge, centrally located fireplace that can be enjoyed from everywhere on the main floor. Tetbury is a Cotswolds style village with some good eateries and pubs. We reaĺly enjoyed our stay.
