The room was modern, new, clean and of a reasonable size, shower /wc room was good with a large shower, overall very comfortable. The staff and owners were all friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. The breakfast whilst appearing to be a little limited, you could have almost whatever you wanted, very flexible. The restaurant was very good (perhaps the choice could be extended slightly) with meals of a high standard and with good service. The location whilst in a village is excellent for visiting surrounding attractions (Portsmouth, Beaulieu, Arundel, etc)
Overall we had an excellent 5 night stay and will definitely consider returning

Had an amazing stay in tasteful and clean bedroom with comfy bed lovely
Pillows and great bathroom. Lots of tea and coffee. Had dinner and breakfast in the pub and they were really tasty. Properly cooked bacon! Great wine list with lots of option. Really lovely beer garden and covered courtyard. Lovely staff. Also v close to Hambledon so a good base to visit there. Really recommend.

Everything is excellent!
The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi.
All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night).
Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby.
Highly recommended.
