The Foresters Arms

Beautiful location in the forest, peaceful and very relaxing surrounded by giant trees. Perfectly designed gardens with lovely clean pool and a zip line for the kids. There’s an English pub style bar which is very well stocked including snacks. The restaurant is superb, best food I’ve found in 11 years of visiting Eswatini. Breakfast has everything you could possibly imagine and more, selection of homemade breads is soooo good. Lunches and dinners are similarly on another level. For me though, the staff shine through. Absolutely lovely kind helpful and engaging. For a peaceful relaxing stay with great food and surroundings, there is nothing finer in Eswatini

The chilled relaxed atmosphere in a classic style colonial lodge in the forest. It’s a little cooler here than elsewhere which brings great relief, and the air is clean and pure. English pub style bar with excellent selection of drinks, and a lovely classic dining room delivering the best dining experience in Eswatini. Breakfast has everything, all fresh and as much homemade as possible, and the evening dinner is a true gourmet experience, absolutely fantastic. Buffet style lunch offers similar quality dining experience. Staff are all, everyone, completely focused on the clients and the maintain a professional attitude whilest being so friendly and kind. Hands down this is my absolute favourite place to stay in Eswatini

Foresters Arms is a real gem. Its has a special charm and I loved every minute of my one night stay there. I was very touched to see my car had been washed just before I left. This is your best choice in this area.

The hotel lives up to its reputation. Apart from the beautiful garden, the food was definitely given a thumb up. They supply several homemade items everyday including bread and jam. All of them were very fresh. Breakfast was generous. The four-course dinners were satisfying in terms of taste and creativity. Two choices are available for starter and desert and four for main course and a guest can order two for each course. The portion is not very big so people like me can have both to satisfy curiosity. The room we stayed for our first night is relatively dated and simple yet clean. We moved to another room next day whose toilet is equipped with more modern amenities including a bath. The hotel staff including the hostesses and housekeepers were cheerful and did their jobs very well. Our car was washed complimentarily and it was very much a pleasant surprise. We notice many people stay there for one or two nights, but our view is people can easily spend a longer there and we did eventually -- it had not been our plan. :) Highly recommended.

One would not expect such a hotel after the drive over pothole-ridden streets and having seen the extremely simple living conditions all around. Surrounded by a secure fence, there is an island of splendor with great food, local staff, and very international clientele. The food is excellent; the table was always the same and the waiter by name assigned for breakfast and dinner. It’s a happy and beautiful place. Imagine this: you wake up and your car has been secretly washed by good spirits early in the morning, and so it goes on and on. Highly recommended!

a short getaway

Excellent friendly service with all the amenities you may wish. Located in the western highlands, resulting in comfortable temperatures. Well thought out menu allowing you varied dishes to satisfy all tastes. Would go back anytime and highly recommended.

Excellent. Really enjoyed our stay at Foresters. Ruth and the staff are extremely thoughtful and kind. Thank you. Our 7 year old was made to feel very welcome too and emjoyed the horses and swimming.

nice hotel, really good food, would recommend for sure

Great room, lovely night, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Nice relaxed start to the following day. I would definitely stay here again. Reception / Manageress very helpful, especially with ongoing directions. Didn't realise that Manzinin was the province and not the location, so went to the wrong area, took a while sorting it out in-situ but got there in the end. Make sure you do your research and preparation properly before setting off, my fault I failed to do this.

We spent a night here on our way further north, it is a lovely location, and most certainly had the best table we experienced anywhere in Swaziland. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it anytime.

Most fantastic ever, very warmly, kind and brilliant place

Arrived late after long day, very welcome dinner was served. Breakfast was excellent and quick. Hotel Grounds relaxing. Staff helpful. Road is bad in place's, better to arrive in Daylight

Wunderschön ruhig am Waldrand gelegene Unterkunft, sehr aufmerksames Personal, saubere Zimmer, klasse Frühstück, toller Pool. Zu empfehlen ist das Abendessen als 6-Gänge-Menü für ca. 20 €.

First cusine das ist nichts für mich War am verhungern

Wir haben 1 Nacht dort verbracht. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen, Frühstück sowie das Abendessen war sehr, sehr gut.

Sehr schön gelegen und das Personal ist super aufmerksam. Die Mahlzeiten waren sehr gut vorbereitet und lecker. Sogar das Auto wurde gewaschen!
