Amazing breakfast included in the room cost 7-10am, got a free upgrade to a suite with a personal sauna in our room, perfectly located in the middle of the village. Maybe 5-7 minute walk to the top of the village and 20th to the downhill ski resort. 3 min walk to the trails. Everything was amazing!

Nice to stay, good location, got bus from Ivalo airport to the hotel, but have to notice about the bus time schedule, if u miss the bus then taxi will be around 60euro to the hotel. Breakfast was very nice!!! Walking distance to the nearest supermarket and souvenir shop

Hotels.com advertises a games room but there’s no such thing here. Room was nice enough - breakfast was in a very dated room and not great I couldn’t even eat the scrambled eggs as were horrible. Staff gave us incorrect info about airport bus.

Terrible! We arrived there at 11pm and freezing cold temperatures, they gave us the wrong apartment number and we were waiting for 40 minutes for someone to appear and just said to us: ah, your apartment number is the one on the side. I called them multiple times and nothing before! It was extremely disrespectful. The room did not have proper heating and no extra blankets… terrible

Check in closes at 10.00.p.m. at a major tourist area. The plane with tourists from the capital, Helsinki, does not arrive at the closest airfield until 10.30.p.m. They need to consider this. The afterhours lockbox is situated outside. It was minus 25 Celsius and dark when we arrived. The lockboxes inside need two fingers for the metal buttons on either side. I still have peeling finger skin two weeks later from having to touch them. The lockbox should be situated in an inside lobby - very poor. There are multiple buildings in this complex and not well lit, so you have to find your in the dark and the cold and pulling your suitcase through snow.

Stayed in Studio with Sauna. The room was spacious enough for solo traveler, and a small kitchen was available which was good. Sauna worked well. But the building was quite old, and the bedroom was a bit cold when sleeping. Looked not very clean, and there was some uncomfortable smell at shower room.

Hi, Rooms are being cleaned every other day. At this point in time where there is Corona virus risk everywhere, this is not acceptable.Cleanliness should be key Also hotel was full of Japanese people where the corona case is also outbroken in that country. I believe they do not care about the virus anymore. Apart from these, there were hardly any utensils to hold even bread. Again very bad judgement when everyone is extremely sensitive.

The standard room we stayed in was very comfortable and provided all we needed, We had to use the public sauna. It was very frustrating that it was separate times for men and women, it was a long walk outside to go to the other sauna. It would have been good to have it mixed for at least a couple of hours per day.

We stayed at AHMA, the premise for standard rooms. It was old and tired looking. The room was small, but comfortable. And there is a common electric sauna for hotel guests with segregated timings for males and females. Breakfast was average - the usual spread you get in most lodgings in Lapland

Spent a week at the hotel hoping to see some aurora, bit of low level activity but lots more low cloud (sees to be a common issue).
Nice room and comfortable bed (2 singles), TV which had BBC News 24 on Ch 9, kettle and a good supply of tea, coffee and chocolate. Good WiFi in the room. Great shower and I do like a good shower :-) Despite the fact that it was -25c and colder during my stay the room was always comfortable.
Don't make the same mistake as me I carted all my baggage into reception, checked in and then had to cart it all back out as I was staying in a separate building 150M away :-)
The breakfast restaurant area is large with good breakfast and is in the same building as reception.
The surrounding area has plenty of good walks through the forests and cross country loops

Excellent customer service from Niina who helped my mum get her hat back after she left it on the coach.
Hotel is conveniently located in Saariselkä with buses from Kakslauttanen stopping directly outside the hotel.
Rooms were clean and ours had the in-room sauna which was easy to use and just wonderful. Room also had in room clothes drier.
Breakfast had a good spread and very polite. Would recommend and would stay again.

Stayed one night while on our Scandinavian road trip and booked the upgraded room with breakfast.
The room was very nice with a sauna and balcony, and the buffet breakfast was also very good.
