Appart Hotel Odalys City Aix en Provence L'Atrium

The hotel is covered in scaffolding (Jan 25) so hard to see and parking nearby was impossible until we found Carnot public parking. This gives a free stay period and from there you can find the hotel on foot, sort out hotel parking and move the car to it.

Staff as always super friendly, easy check in and good amenities.

Very convenient. Breakfast not valid for money. We didn’t bother when we saw the buffet. Good location to get into Aix town centre.

Lack of water for over one day then. No hot water. No compensation offered in the middle of a huge renovation. Black mold visible. Paint smell everywhere. Don’t stay here until renovations are completed.

It’s an apartment hotel but with many quality upgrades in terms of appliances and things required in a great area close to the center of town to walk but relaxed safe location.

My recent stay at Odalys City Aix en Provence L'Atrium was nothing short of a disappointment. From the moment I walked through the doors, it was evident that this was not the experience I had hoped for. Common Areas: The first impression was far from pleasant. The common areas of the hotel were shockingly filthy. The lobby, which should set the tone for the entire stay, was dimly lit and had a musty odor. The floors appeared to have been neglected for a long time, with dirt and stains that made you question the last time they were cleaned. It was an unwelcoming introduction to the hotel. Sleeping Rooms: If the common areas were bad, the sleeping rooms were even worse. Upon entering my room, I was met with a stifling smell. The carpets were stained, the walls showed signs of water damage, and the overall cleanliness was severely lacking. The bed linens were questionable at best, and I had serious doubts about their cleanliness. The bathroom was equally disappointing, with mold in the corners and a showerhead that barely produced a trickle of water. Overall, my stay at Odalys City Aix en Provence L'Atrium was a regrettable experience. I had expected a comfortable and clean environment, but what I found was quite the opposite. The common areas were filthy, and the sleeping rooms were even worse. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, and I urge potential guests to consider alternative accommodations in Aix-en-Provence. This was an unfortunate and unforgettable experience.

Very conveniently located; close to the city centre (rue d'Italie connects it to cours Mirabeau) and Aix-Marseille university. The rooms are studios proper (which I had not expected/noticed upon booking), including a separate kitchen, and very spacious. The room was very quiet, as well.

It was a great location but the hotel is very old and worn. Basically clean but not spotless.

The hotel is tired and needs refurbishment. The apartment was small. The sheet did not cover the mattress nor did the quilt. You had to go hunting for spare toilet roll! On the plus side it was located near to the old city about 5 minutes walk

The place is filthy. Used towel on the rack not being cleaned. The sofa bed was not set up for the third guest even we registered for 3 persons. When I asked the front desk, he asked me to do it myself! Very disappointing. The attitude of staff member was arrogant.

Series of upgrades are required on kitchen appliances, in bath tub tile falling apart, carpet requires cleaning or complete replacement, Safe wasn’t working properly and room number at the door was missing.

The only good thing was close to city center

On the last day of my stay from c.5pm in the afternoon until I left on the afternoon of 28 May my room was without electricity — no light, no power. Although I reported this and checked several times during the night and up till the time came to depart for my flight back to Australia there was absolutely nothing done to attend to the problem — undressing and packing by torchlight is not normally expected of guests in a hotel of the purported class as that held by the Odalys City Aix Hotel.
