Minimal facilities, restaurant not open yet, and rooms in annexe have a temporary builder’s door.

Beautiful chateau a little bit out of the way, Main restaurant is very good, make reservations. Room was large and comfortable. Staff was helpful. No elevator on the top floor is problematic.

We like the quietness of the property and its location. Plenty of free parking. The staff is cery hardworking and very helpful.the two restaurants are very nice

Very disappointing. Room was functional but v dated (bad 1980s) low quality decor e.g flimsy black wardrobe with no doors. Also, i disliked the fact they charge extra for coffee in the room and would not give me any milk for tea in the morning. On the positives, the bathroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. V basic and unluxurious for the price.

We stayed in one of the converted courtyard rooms which were excellent quality with a very modern touch, very satisfied and would visit again

Nice hotel, but staff not very efficient (friendly though).

Only one bath towel in the room. Not even a simple coffee or tea available in the room. Closet without doors.

Beautiful setting. Most of the accomodation is in remodelled stables and it is an excellent build quality which translates to good room quality. I thoroughly enjoyed their taste in art as well as the jogging/walking paths on the property and adjacent woods and river. My only dissapointment was the lack of breakfast options especially for the Eur18 they'd charge in high season. We didnt try the restuarant either as the menu was in French and I'm sure the food was good, but if you dont know what you're eating, you wont eat there. If they want to cater for an international market then they should consider improving the breakfast options, provide english menu's and appreciate that many people do not eat meat (so provide some non-meat options which is very easy to do)

Perfect hotel; excellent service

We arived after a long drive and had time for a walk in the surrounding countryside before dinner. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Dinner was excellent - excellent food and efficient, friendly service. We were sorry to leave and would certainly like to stay here again. Highly recommended.

Petite escapade réussi au château de la Barbinière, nous avions pris la suite junior pour être à notre aise et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre court séjour dans ce très jolie château

Service quelque peu expéditif à la fin du petit déjeuner et facture salée si vous passez par hotels.com. Pour le reste, très bel endroit, hôtel nickel.

Wunderschöne Anlage, ruhig gelegen, stimmungsvoll. Sehr gutes Restaurant.

Très bel endroit, dommage d'etre "exilé" dans la maison des gardiens ou le wifi ne fonctionne pas. Par contre un excellent diner, bravo au chef

Arrivée à 20h à l’hôtel, on m’a indiqué une chambre dans une annexe du château quelque part vers on entrée… dans le noir sans lumière on aurait pu me donner plus de précisions… Aussi, le restaurant de l’hôtel n’avait pas de dispo pour me recevoir, et aucun plateau repas n’est prévu, il a donc fallu que je me rende en voiture dans le village vers les restaurants indiqués par l’hôtel mais qui malheureusement étaient tous complets également. Le mini bar de ma chambre était vide donc pas de choix non plus. Chambre très mal isolé, par malchance mes voisins ont fait des allées et venues la nuit (2h, 4h et 6h du matin) et les places de parking sont directement devant ma fenêtre (rdc) Enfin, j’avais validé a l’accueil à mon arrivée le fait de prendre le petit déjeuner mais l’oublie arrive. En me présentant au petit dej il m’a été fait la remarque que j’étais pas inscrit, j’ai senti comme un agacement de la personne qui m’a reçu à ce moment. Le petit déjeuné fini j’ai pu aller payé, pendant avoir payé en ligne avec hôtels.com j’ai d’abord été surpris de voir qu’il fallait réglé la totalité. J’ai donc questionné la personne à l’accueil (la même qui gérait le petit déjeuné) et d’un ton très désagréable j’ai compris que l’erreur était impossible. J’aimerai pouvoir dire du bien de ce lieu qui a l’air magnifique mais je n’ai pas eu d’expérience client correct et l’accueil a été assez limite.
